    Q
Will CoreTect Tree & Shrub kill Japanese beetles eating my oak tree leaves?
    Also have June bugs
    A

CoreTect Tree & Shrub Tablets Insecticide is labeled for Japanese Beetle adults on established trees, you would use 2-3 tablets per inch of trunk diameter or per foot of shrub height.  It is not labeled for June bugs though and we are unable to find a systemic that could be used for the adults.  Adonis 2F could be used for Japanese beetles adults and larvae (in turf), as well as Green June Beetles and larvae in the soil.

    Q
Will CoreTect Tree & Shrub Tablets stop tiger moth caterpillar?
I have fruitless Burberry trees that are annually full of tiger moth caterpillars.
    A

The CoreTect Tree & Shrub Tablets is not labeled for tiger moth caterpillars as these are leaf feeding insects. We recommend that you apply Hi-Yield Thuricide Concentrate; it is labeled for this insect. You will mix  2 oz. per 3 gallons of water (4 tsp. per gallon).

    Q
Will CoreTect Tree & Shrub kill spruce bud worms?
    A
Coretect Tree & Shrub Tablets is not labeled for any type of worm, it is a great one for plant sucking pests.  Tempo Sc Ultra is labeled for bud worms and should do a great job for you when used as directed. We do recommend testing the product on one small area of the tree before broadcasting on the entire tree because spruce are known to loose their color very easily from insecticide applications.

    Q
I have 75 tropical hybrid hibiscus with severe aphid infestation. Is this product too potent for then;20%?
Bayer Tree and Shrub is recommended by some; the amt. of imidicloprid is much less. Help! Tried acephate, etc.
    A
The CoreTect Tree & Shrub Tablets may be too strong as it is not labeled to be used on flowers, only ornament trees and shrubs. Flowers are more sensitive than trees and shrubs and need specifically formulated products so to prevent undesirable damage. I would recommend using the Bayer 3 in 1 Insect, Disease, and Mite Control. This product offers systemic, rainproof, 30 day protection from pests and diseases that may harm your flowering plants, trees, and shrubs. It cures and prevents fungal diseases, kills and controls insect pests such as aphids and spider mites.
