Could I apply Surflan Pro Herbicide for goatheads?

I just torched the area would it be wise to use Surflan pre emergent now before spring?

Answer:

Surflan Pro Herbicide will prevent sandbur/goatheads but it will not kill any that are currently actively growing. It can be applied to established listed turf in the spring and fall. Please refer to the product label for complete applicatiton instructions.
