Most folks use clingy plastic or plastic with tape to seal edges of the tank when applying Crossfire or other insecticides. Others have even used towels, blankets or other materials to cover over the plastic when treating with products in the home. We do not offer a special cover for the tanks at this time.
The biggest thing with bedbugs is to stay on top of treatments every 7-10 days and be meticulous with the applications to get into every nook and crevice you can. It is recommended to retreat every 7-10 days for active infestations of bedbugs until you can go 30 days without seeing any signs of bedbugs or without anyone getting bit. Crossfire can be sprayed every day if needed, but for an active treatment, every 10 days is recommended.
Applying Cimexa Dust to wall voids, in between mattresses and box springs, behind headboards, around windows, etc is also a great treatment to reach further into the crack and crevice than a liquid application

When using Crossfire Bed Bug Concentrate, spray applicaitons should be done till the areas are only slightly damp, not oversaturated or soaking wet. Typical wait time to ensure the areas have dried completely is about 4-6 hours.
After using the Crossfire Bed Bug Concentrate, washing sheets, pillow cases, and clothes as needed, vacuuming regularly are all helpful methods in a bedbug treamtent program. While cleaning the home, look for any signs of live bed bugs around the room or your belongings.
On average one gallon of mixed solution of Crossfire should be enough to treat multiple rooms since you are just focusing on baseboards and crevices, bed frames, and mattress and box springs.

EcoRaider will continue to kill exposed bed bugs for 10-12 days after application. After 10-12 days, you can apply the Crossfire Bed Bug Concentrate, which has a residual of 30 days. The Crossfire would give you a better kill rate than the Diatomaceous Earth but yes, you can apply it along the wall.
