    Q
I used Cy-Kick Aerosol for clover mites around outside perimeter of my house
This stuff did not effect CLOVER MITES.I am still seeing them active and unaffected .I used a Diatomaceous Earth in window seals on top of already using CY-kick.
    A

Cy-Kick Aerosol is labeled for clover mite control. However, the product label provides instructions for clover mite control INDOORS, not outdoors. Aerosol applications are usually intended for indoors, so this could be why you are not seeing any results with the product. For outdoor treatment of clover mites, we recommend using Talstar P and spraying around window frames and doorframes, on the siding of the home, and out in the lawn. You may also take a look at our guide on How to Get Rid of Clover Mites for some more helpful information.

    Q
Why is Cy-Kick Aerosol not working on roaches?
Its been a week after using Cy-Kick Aerosol and the roaches are not affected at all. They are tap dancing in it lol but they are walking around in the places I sprayed.
    A

Cy-Kick Aerosol  offers a residual control not a contact kill. We do recommend that you offer a professional roach bait gel, insect growth regulator (IGR) and non-chemical methods for roach control. Please take a few moments to review our treatment article on How to Get Rid of Roaches for a successful program.

    Q
IfI spray Cy-Kick Aerosol around some flood lights that yellow jackets like to fly around and land near, how long will this last with residual effect after it dries and is exposed to rain?
    A

Cy-Kick Aerosol - 17.5 oz.  is not labeled for yellow jacket control. A product like Temprid Ready Spray is labeled for wasps and can have an outdoor residual of up to 30 days or more, depending on the conditions.  Heavy rains can certainly diminish some of the residual, but it really depends on the specific conditions.  It's recommended to find the nest and treat it directly to get rid of the source.  If you're unable to find the nest directly, this can be used in the area you're describing.  If you're looking for a product to treat a larger area, you can try something like Cyzmic.

    Q
Why is my Cy-Kick aerosol spraying white foam? Is it due to exposure of heat? What can I do?
It does not look good when applying with a white foam residue left after applying. I have 4 full cans doing this.. How can I stop this?
    A

Are you sure that you have regular CyKick Aerosol and not CyKick CS Aerosol? The CyKick CS aerosol has that foaming action because it is an encapsulated spray. The foam will dissipate as the product dries and should not leave any visible residue.

    Q
I have tiny worms in my kitchen/cabinets and have treated with Cy-Kick Aerosol but still see some. What do i do?
I found tiny worms in my kitchen. They nested underneath my cabinets. We had to saw off the bottom of our cabinets to find their main area. I have taken everything out, vacumed, and wiped down with vinegar, had Orkin come spray, and sprayed Cy Kick 3 different times myself. With the last one being yesterday I still came home to find 2 more dead ones laying in my cabinets. It has been two months and I still have everything out of my cabinets. I desperately want these things gone and want to put my kitchen back together. What can I do?
    A

Without knowing what pest in particular it is that you are finding the larvae/worm form of, its hard to say how many life cycles could potentially be in a crevice somewhere. That being said, as long as you are continuing to find only dead ones and you have any grains or food materials sealed up in air tight containers you can go back to using your cabinets regularly and just watch for any infested materials. Outside of that you could spray in the same cracks and crevices of the cabinets where you used the Cy Kick Aerosol and use Gentrol Aerosol IGR to help stop any reproductive cycle that might be occurring. Keep cleaning and looking for sources of the original infestation to make sure they have all been eliminated.

    Q
Can I spray Cy-Kick Aerosol on fascia board for termites?
a termite company I saw would scrape the termite eaten wood out of the facia board, spray cy-kick aerosol, then Bondo it. Is that the right practice and how long would that last?
    A

Cy-Kick Aerosol can be used to spot treat above-ground termites, but it will not kill the entire colony unless all the termites are sprayed directly or come into contact with the treated area. Please see our Drywood Termite Treatment Guide for more information.

    Q
Can I use Harmonix Insect Spray for Rice or Grain Weevils wandering through my kitchen at night?
I find them in the cats water bowl in the morning. We had some weevils in dried beans in our pantry which is 8 feet from the kitchen. Are the weevils coming from the pantry area and wandering around or do they set up residence in other parts of the house such as kitchen or pet feeding areas. To what extent do I spray and what would be the dilution rate?
    A

It is possible that you are dealing with Gran weevils and they could have been inside the bag of dried beans. It is important to clean the area and get rid of any spilled grains. Harmonix Insect Spray will only provide you with a contact kill but will leave no residual, which is what you need since eggs and larvae can be found inside cracks and crevices of kitchen cabinets, pantry, etc. For better results we would recommend using products that provide you with a residual such as Cy-Kick Aerosol or D-Force HPX.

    Q
What's best way to rid drugstore beetles found mostly by window interior ledges?
    A

You can use Cy-Kick Aerosol around the window ledges, baseboards, cracks and crevices to control drugstore beetles. If the infestation is high, we would also recommend to use Gentrol Aerosol IGR to help control the reproduction as well as GreenWay Pantry Patrol Insect Traps to help catch the adult flying beetles.

    Q
Is there a reason I would use this Cy-Kick aerosol inside rather than just pump spray the Cy-Kick CS liquid solution?
I use the Cy-kick liquid concentrate in a pump sprayer for my outside perimeter.
    A

Cy Kick CS is a liquid concentrate that will last for 90 days indoors and the Cy-Kick aerosol will offer a 4 week residual. The aerosol will work great for treating fine cracks and crevices. For example, if you are treating pantry moths indoors, then applying the Cy-Kick aerosol would be better to reach the crevices of the cabinets, pantries etc.

    Q
What is a good indoor pet friendly aerosol with residual besides Cy Kick Aerosol?
I asked for help with this before and Cy-Kick CS Aerosol was recommended. It works great in the garage, but I do not like it for inside. It smells and takes a long time to dry. What else can you recommend?
    A

We apologize, but we would need more details on the type of insect your are treating for to recommend an indoor pet friendly aerosol with residual. Are you wanting to treat cracks and crevices only or wanting a broadcast aerosol to apply over the carpeted areas. Below are some suggestions for each type of application.

    Crack and Crevice Treatment:

    Phantom Aerosol

    D-Force HPX Aerosol

    Temprid Ready Spray

    Zenprox Aerosol

    PT 221L Aerosol

    Alpine PT Aerosol

Broadcast Application (carpet, pet bedding, rugs)

    Ultracide

    Alpine Flea Insecticide with IGR

    Q
    Shelf Life of Cy-Kick Aerosol
I'm a long-time user of Cy-Kick Aerosol, and I still have some two-year old full cans of it (in a temperature cooled area). A few cans contents are getting a bit foamy when I spray. Sometimes I use the straw and sometimes I don't. Specifically I want to know if there is an expiration date when this product's effectiveness goes away? Your answer will be appreciated, so thank you.
    A
Cy-Kick Aerosol will last for approx. 2 years if kept in a cool dry place.

    Q
What is the difference between D-Force HPX and D-force? We are dealing with brown recluse.
The brown recluse are in a home that we just purchased. Of course the people that sold the house lied about it. We are using Delta dust in cracks, voids, and under switch plates. We are going to use that too blast the attic and crawl space. We have something else called demon that we are going to use as well. We were going to top it off with the aerosol, but need the kind that is encapsulated.
    A
D-Force HPX made by Waterbury was recently purchased by FMC Corp. and is now manufacturered by FMC under the name D-Force Aerosol.  Same product, same active ingredient, but with a new look.
If you are looking for a encapsulated aerosol the product to go with is Cy-Kick CS Aerosol
