    Is Cy-Kick CS sprayed around the perimeter of the house at .06% harmful to birds directly or indirectly?

    No, there should be no issues to birds by applying Cy-Kick CS around the perimeter of your home.  When our products are mixed correctly, even though they are professional strength, they are only strong enough to kill the small insects the product is intended for.  Remember that pest control professionals use this product every day around thousands of homes across the country and if it was a danger to birds, the EPA would have never approved it.

    Can Cy-kick CS be used outdoors to control of cluster flies?
    A

    Yes, Cy-Kick CS can be used outdoors to kill cluster flies. It is recommended that you apply the product in cracks and crevices where the pest may harbor or hibernate. Do not repeat applications more than twice a week. Treatments need to be done at least 3 days apart. The mixing ratio is 1-2 fl. oz. per gallon of water.

    I have Stinkbugs and Boxelders. Would Cy-Kick CS or Demon WP be a better choice for me?
    Our home is infested during the summer with both of these bugs. Which would be the better product to treat with, Demon WP or Cy-Kick CS? Or would a combination of both be the way to go

    Demon WP and Cy-Kick CS would both be great choices for stinkbug and box-elder bug control. If you are going to be treating on dark surfaces you may want to stick with the Cy-Kick CS as it will not leave a visible residue like the powdery residue left behind by Demon WP. There is no need to use both products at the same time because they are both synthetic pyrethroids and using them together will not improve results.

    We do not manufacture Cy-Kick CS, we are a retailer for the product. Insecticides are non-selective. This means that they can kill just about any insect that crosses over treated areas, including the beneficial insects. You can help minimize this, by only applying insecticides according to the product label, only in needed areas and only when necessary. There are many things you can do to reduce the need to use insecticides. Please read our article entitled Integrated Pest Management, to learn more.

    Is Cy Kick CS or Demand CS better for brown recluse spiders? Is there a better treatment?
    I caught adult and baby brown recluse spiders in sticky traps. I am looking for the best DIY way of treating my house for brown recluse spiders in my basement, main and 2nd floors, attic, and exterior of my house. I have experience treating other insects and pests, but I need help knowing how to treat brown recluse spiders. The pest control company said it would be $500-$1000 to treat (they did not inspect house yet).

    Cy-Kick CS and the Demand CS are both great products for spider control. However, neither list Brown Recluse specifically on their product label.

    Cy kick cs insecticide spray has pooled on my tile floor and does not dry. It is where the tile meets the base
    A
    When applying an insecticide such as Cy-Kick CS to the cracks and crevices along baseboards, under sinks, under cabinets, behind toilets, appliances, etc the nozzle tip of the hand pump sprayer should be placed directly into the crack/crevice and sprayed to where there is limited dripping or over sprayer. If overspray or run off occurs, you can use cat litter, newspaper, or paper towels to soak up the overspray or puddle.

    I live in San Antonio, Texas. What type of scorpions do we have in this region? They are light brown?

    Without having a picture it is hard to give a 100% percent I.D. It sounds like a Bark Scorpion which is very common for your area. To treat them, you would want to use a product like Cykick CS.  Cy-kick CS liquid concentrate insecticide provides 90 days of full-throttle killing power, controlling insects indoors and outdoors. Cy-Kick CS creates a thick barrier of microcapsules that is impossible for insects to cross without being exposed to a lethal dose of insecticide

    Can you mix Suspend SC with Cy-Kick CS?
    Can you mix these two products for a more durable insecticide?
    A
    Since both products contain synthetic pyrethroids there is no valid reason to mix Suspend SC and Cy-Kick CS together, it would not make either product work better or produce better results, though it could make treated areas repellent to insects lessening the effectiveness of the treatment. Each of the these products will do a great job though Cy-Kick CS is microencapsulated which means it can last a little longer in outdoor applications. We recommend that you choose one product, read the product label and use the highest label rate allowed for best results.
