We would recommend using Bifen XTS for mole crickets. The label recommends that you use the lower rate of 0.07 oz. per gallon of water in early Spring to control overwintered mole crickets. For summer applications, it is recommend to use the higher rate of 0.15 fl oz. per gallon of water.

The best product for pine bark beetles is Permethrin SFR 36.8%. Trees can be treated from April through to the end of June however trees must be sprayed protectively, before the beetles fly and attack. Spraying trees after they have been attacked will not save them. Once the tree is infested there isn't much you can do other than chop down the tree and burn it to try and prevent the current live ones from getting into any neighboring trees.
The tree should be sprayed from the ground to 15 ft up the trunk to prevent future infestations.
