    Q
Does Cyonara 9.7 help to kill mosquitoes?
    A

Yes, Cyonara 9.7 will do a great job controlling mosquitoes. It is mixed at the rate of 0.2-0.4 oz. (6-12 mL) per gallon of water for mosquitoes. If you have a heavy population you can incorporate ExciteR for a quicker knockdown and Tekko Pro which is an Insect Growth Regulator that works to disrupt the life cycle of the insects by keeping the juveniles from growing into adults.

    Q
If I spray my foundation with Cyonara 9.7 and my chickens eat the crickets that die will the get sick or die?
    A

As long as chickens are out of the area during treatment of Cyonara 9.7 until dry it is safe.  The small amount of active ingredient left behind to kill insects is not enough to harm a chicken, they would have to eat their body weight or more in insects killed from the product.

    Q
Ratio of 8 fluid oz to water for chinch bugs?
    A
    Good evening,

You will need to use 7 mL per 1,000 sq. ft. For best results, apply CYONARA 9.7 at recommended rates in 2 - 10 gals. of water per 1,000 sq. ft. The use of a nonionic wetting agent, penetrant or similar adjuvant is recommended at label rates. Lightly irrigate after application with up to 1/2 inch of water to move the CYONARA 9.7 into the thatch layer. If irrigation is not available, then use high water application rates for optimum results.

    Q
Can Cyonara 9.7 be used in an ULV Fogger? If so, at what rate?
    A

Cyonara 9.7 is not designed to be applied in a fogger as it is microencapsulated and fogging will break those capsules up.  It should only be used in a tank sprayer or mist blower.

    Q
What is the application rate for Cyonara 9.7 to treat chinch bugs, grasshoppers, etc? Treating 16,000 sq ft bermuda lawn, should I use a 2.5 gallon backpack sprayer or hose end sprayer?
    A

Cyonara 9.7 rates vary for each of these pests per the product label.  For chinch bugs, you would use at the rate of 14 ml per 1000 sqft in 4 - 10 gals. of water per 1,000 sq. ft. The best method is to use a pump-up sprayer or backpack sprayer as you will get a better rate but you can use a hose-end sprayer.

    Q
Is Cyonara 9.7 safe for kitchen cabinets?
We've seen roaches in our kitchen cabinets. We are thiking about removing all the contents of the cabinets and spraying cyonara. The cabinets contents include canned foods, bottled sauces, sealed glass spice containers, etc - no open food.
    A

The Cyonara 9.7 is labeled for use in kitchen cabinets for roaches and other pests so long as you follow the specific use instructions on the Product Label. You would not spray the open surfaces of the cabinet, but rather direct the chemical into the cracks and crevices, joints, seams, hinges, etc and under sides of shelves if needed to get control. Allow the cabinets to dry completely before returning food or other items to the treated areas. We also have a great guide on How to Get Rid of Roaches that you can review to see more tips from professionals on how to eliminate them as quickly and effectively as possible.

    Q
Will Cyonara 9.7 Insecticide work on armyworms, and if so what is the mixing ratio per gal?
    A

Cyonara 9.7 would be a great product to use for armyworms as directed. Per the product label, : For best results, apply CYONARA 9.7 at recommended rates in 2 - 5 gals. of water per 1,000 sq. ft. The use of a spreader-sticker may be useful if high rainfall amounts are forecast, otherwise the addition of adjuvants is not necessary under normal conditions for surface insect control in turf. Delay watering or mowing for 12 - 24 hours for optimum control of surface-feeding insect pests.
