    Q
What is the difference between Delta Dust and Cimexa?
For roaches mostly but spiders and silverfish as well.
    A

CimeXa Insecticide Dust is the newest product available in the battle against bed bugs. CimeXa Dust is 100% Silica dust (pyrethroid free), is very safe, odorless, and will not stain.  CimeXa Dust will last up to 10 years when applied to undisturbed areas like wall voids, or frames of some furniture such as couches. It is very effective on bed bugs, especially pyrethroid resistant bed bugs. It is also labeled for Ants Crazy Ants, Cockroaches, Firebrats, Silverfish, Spiders, Mites, Bed Bugs, Lice, Fleas, Ticks, and Drywood Termites. When pests come into contact with CimeXa, the product clings to their exoskeleton Delta Dust is 100% waterproof and is a synthetic pyrethroid. Delta Dust would work great for Ants, Bedbugs, Cockroaches, Fleas, Silverfish, Scorpions, Sowbugs, Millipedes, and others listed on the label.

Delta Dust would work if you are treating the exterior of your home as it is the only waterproof dust product available. To see if Delta Dust will work for the pest you are treating, please consult the product label.

    Q
What product do you recommend for ants that are coming out of my electrical outlets?
Mainly in the kitchen but also on the mantel of my fireplace, where I have electrical outlets.
    A
You could definitely use a dust like Delta Dust and puff it into the outlets and wall voids to treat ants. Depending on what type of ants you are dealing with you could use our Complete Ant Kit  as well.

    Q
How is Delta Dust applied in the attic space to be effective for misc bugs?
    A

Delta Dust Insecticide can be applied in cracks, crevices, voids and other areas in the attic where insects harbor.  This would be done using a hand duster like the Bellow Hand Duster

    Q
Is there a dust or powder that can be sprayed/instilled into the area behind wall outlets?
An exterminator was trying to sell me on a treatment where one removes wall electric outlet covers and uses a dusting device to spray a pyrethroid type powder into that area. This is for the treatment of odorous ants. Sounds plausible, but what product would that be and can I get it from you?
    A

You could definitely use a dust like Delta Dust and puff it into the area around the outlets and wall voids to treat ants. You could use our Indoor Ant Kit as well to get more control.

    Q
Can Delta Dust Insecticide be applied in wall voids, behind TVs, refrigerators, microwaves etc?
    A

Yes, Delta Dust Insecticide is perfect for underneath and behind appliances like TVs, refrigerators, microwaves etc, as well as in wall voids and cracks and crevices. Of course, you would not want to dust in the open if you have food sitting out on the countertops exposed.

    Q
Can I use Delta Dust in electrical outlets and light switches if months ago I had niban fg for silverfish?
Exterminators couldn't get rid of silverfish in condo. They sprayed & then put Niban in outlet plates but the bottle they used had traces of boric acid powder as it was previously used with boric acid. Does that affect Niban? So, if there's already Niban, can I also use Delta Dust? (I found many dead silverfish after using Niban, but after a couple of months I see live ones again.) Where else should I apply Niban or Delta?
    A
We do not recommend applying Delta dust where you are currently using a bait like Niban. Since, you said you used Niban Months ago, we do not see an issue with applying Delta dust in wall voids. You may also want to use Dekko Silverfish packets to treat for Silverfish.

    Q
If treating inside walls (via drilled holes), do I need to use a duster?
Can the product be injected straight from the bottle?
    A
It would be best to use a duster like the Bellow hand duster to apply Delta dust. This way you can dust further into the wall voids.

    Q
How long does Defense a Dust take to kill brown recluse?
We are dealing with brown recluse spiders. Tonight my husband caught one in a jar that was running around in our kitchen sink. He puffed Defense dust on it and at first it crinkled up like it had died but an hour later it was running around the jar like nothing happened. What's going on?
    A
Delta Dust Insecticide can take minutes to hours to kill spiders. It has to enter through there follicles into their Central Nervous system.
