    Q
Why can't I find the Power Force Granules anywhere anymore? Is it being sold under another name?
I cannot find anything that works as well as the Power Force Granules.
    A
Unfortunately we do not have any availability information on the Powerforce Granules as we are not the manufacturer and we do not carry over the counter products. We can tell you that Powerforce contains a synthetic pyrethroid as the active ingredient and that we carry several granules that would be very comparable. DeltaGard Granules are actually made by Bayer which is the same manufacturer that makes Powerforce.

    Q
What product can I use in or around my pool to kill springtails?
I read that cyfluthrin granules kill springtails that have invaded my inground pool. what product to use either in pool or around pool that would be safe for us and 2 dogs
    A
There are no products that you can use in your pool for springtails. You can use Demand granules or Deltagard granules around the perimeter of your pool to help eliminate this pest before they make into the water. You can spread the granules in a 5 ft - 10ft band in the soil/grass around the pool. you want will want to use 2-3 lbs per 1,000 sq ft  for best results.  Springtail can be hard to control because they reproduce very fast and they thrive in damp, humid areas. You should remove as mulch, leaf debris and other yard debris as possible to help eliminate harborage areas in your yard.

    Q
Is DeltaGard G Granules the best to control clover mites and how often should I apply it?
    A

When providing a perimeter application to prevent insects (including clover mites) from entering nearby buildings/structures, apply 2-3 lbs/1,000 sq ft of DeltaGard G Granules adjacent to the structure in a 5-10 ft wide band. You could also use Bifen IT to apply to windowframes, doorframes, siding non-edible foliage etc. at a rate of 1 fl oz per gallon of water. DeltaGard Granules can be reapplied 2-3 months from first application and Bifen IT will be applied once monthly.

    Q
What are the spreading settings for DeltaGard G Granules on the Earth Way Ev-en-spread 2750 Model?
The only spreading settings listed on the Deltagard G Granules is for the 2050. if you cannot locate the 2750 settings for Deltagard a conversion chart from 2050 to 2750 would work perfect. I have spent hours looking and just cannot find it. Thank you!
    A

According to Earthway, the Earth Way Ev-en-spread 2750 Model would put out 2lbs per 1,000 sq feet at the 4.5 setting and it would be recommended to move the setting up in 0.5 incriments to spreader setting 5 for approx 3lbs per 1,000 sq feet. Most of the insects on the DeltaGard G Granules are controlled by 2lb - 3lbs product per 1,000sq feet. The manufacturer Earthway stated you want to crank 1 full rotation with every step.

    Q
Can DeltaGard Granules be used on concrete and around a built in BBQ to control crickets
We have a custom built outdoor BBQ with ledgerstone on all 4 sides. Crickets love to hide among the cracks and crevices of the ledgerstone, then come out at night and infest the top of the grill...just wondering if applying DeltaGard around the structure and underneath the grill would kill them. The grill is on top of a concrete slab.
    A
No, DeltaGard G Granules cannot be used on concrete areas. DeltaGard G Granules are only labeled to be used in lawns, ground covers, and perimeter treatments in soily areas. In this instance I would recommend Alpine WSG instead. Alpine WSG (water soluble granule) is a non-pyrethroid, non-repellent broad spectrum insecticide that uses the active ingredient Dinotefuran. Dinotefuran has been granted Reduced Risk status for public health use by the EPA. Alpine WSG can be used in attics and eaves; on exterior hard surfaces like sidewalks, driveways, patios and porches. You would simply mix one packet per gallon of water and spray the treatment area. Allow the treated are to fully dry before re-entry.

    Q
DeltaGard G Granules vs. Sevin granules
Sevin granules list same active ingredient but in lower percentage but Sevin mentions it kills fleas yet Deltagard doesn't. Would stand to reason that if Sevin kills at lower percentage than Deltagard should too? Indont have a specific flea problem looking for a broad spectrum best catch all product for general pest control. Seems like these are essentially same product? With exception to percentage of ingredients? Would talstar xtra and deltagard work about the same as each other. Having trouble deciding which of the 2 would work best.
    A

DeltaGard Granules have the active ingredient Deltamethrin. Sevin Granules contain beta-cyfluthrin and bifenthrin, which are similar active ingredients, but not exactly the same as the one in the DeltaGard. Since these are different active ingredients, there will be different amounts of active ingredient. Sevin Granules are labeled to control fleas and many other common crawling pests. Talstar XTRA Granules have the same active ingredients as the Sevin granules, however it has slightly more active ingredient and is a professional version of that product. You can use any of these for general lawn and perimeter pest prevention.
