Any granules will do a great job helping you control these pests. Each of the granules contains a synthetic pyrethroid for the active ingredient which means they will all work very similar to each other. DeltaGard G Granules is labeled for roaches and should work fine for controlling them. You would want to apply every 2 to 3 months and make sure you water in the granules for faster results once you apply it. You can also apply it before a rain event instead of watering the granules yourself. It is a granule, so yes it is dust free.
DeltaGard G Granules need to be watered in to activate them, while Niban Granular Bait - 4 lb. Shaker needs to be applied dry, so we would not recommend mixing these products since the water from the DeltaGard application would reduce the efficacy of the Niban. Also, Niban is a bait you don't want to get wet right away.
DeltaGard G Granules is not labeled for no-see-ums. We would recommend using Talstar P. It is a very good general insecticide that is labeled for no-see-ums.
DeltaGard G Granules could kill stink bugs that come in contact with a lethal dose. For stink bug control, we recommend our stink bug control kit.
If you prefer a granular product, DeltaGard G Granules is a great option. Please be sure to review the product label for more information and complete application instructions. If you would prefer to spray a liquid instead, Talstar P is another great option. You may view the full product label here.
DeltaGard G Granules is not a systemic insecticide but is labeled for bermuda mites as directed on the product label.
No, DeltaGard G Granules is not labeled for mosquitoes. Granules do not generally target flying insects. You may consider Suspend SC or Talstar P Professional Insecticide instead
DeltaGard G Granules does advise on the label to not apply to saturated soil. If the areas are lightly wet it would be okay to apply. Make sure that the rain expected is not so much that the product will wash off the surface.
Unfortunately, we do not have the spreader settings for the DeltaGard G Granules and the Scotts Turf Builder Edgeguard, and since the manufacturer does not list that spreader on their bag we are unsure what the exact setting would be. Due to the thousands of granules on the market and just as many different types of spreaders, there isn't a master list that exists. You may want to try calling the manufacturer of your spreader or the chemical itself directly, to see if anyone on their staff has that info. Otherwise, you will want to calibrate your spreader to the product you are using and its application rates. You can see a short video on how to accomplish this below.
