While Demon Max can have some knock down properties, it is not considered a contact kill product. It is a residual insecticide that once dry will last on the surface 3-6 months indoors (although you would respray more frequently for an active infestation) and 30-60 days outdoors depending on how the elements effect it over time.
Demon Max would be applied once a month outside and once every 90 days inside.
Demon Max is not labeled for grubs. We do carry several products that are labeled for grubs such as Adonis 2F, Merit Granules, Milky Spore and Dylox. Please see our article on How To Get Rid of Grubs here.
Demon Max is not labeled for bagworms. As an alternative,consider using a product like Talstar P. Please also check out our article on How to Control Bagworms.
Demon Max will kill ticks when used as directed on the product label. It is pet safe also when used as directed on the label. Pets should be out of the area during treatment until dry. Please refer to our guide here on the best advice on treating for ticks.
Demon Max is not really selective, so it could potentially harm benificial insects such as bees and butterflies. To minimize this risk, apply in the early morning or in the evening when they are least active, and avoid applying directly to any blooms.
Demon Max will kill most species of cockroaches, including German cockroaches. It is is mixed at the rate of 1/2 - 1 oz per gallon of water, for cockroaches. Please take a look at our Roach Control Guide for more information on doing a complete roach treatment.
Demon Max is not considered a contact kill insecticide, but will leave a residual on the surfaces applied to that will continue to kill insects that cross over the treated area. It will only kill those roaches that contact a treated area and this can take a few hours up to 24 hours or more depending on several factors.
If you are dealing with a roach infestation, an insecticide application alone will not provide total roach control. We advise that you read over our guide on How to Get Rid of Roaches, for a better understanding of all steps necessary, both non-chemical and chemical, for effective roach control.
