Demon Max should be stored in an area that is not exposed to extreme hot or cold. We recommend that you store in a cool, for a three year shelf life from the date of purchase. If mixed with water, it should be used within 24 hrs.

Demon Max would be applied once a month outside and once every 90 days inside.
While Demon Max can have some knock down properties, it is not considered a contact kill product. It is a residual insecticide that once dry will last on the surface 3-6 months indoors (although you would respray more frequently for an active infestation) and 30-60 days outdoors depending on how the elements effect it over time.

Demon Max will not prevent any fleas or other insects from getting into the house but is a great product to use outside for fleas to help control them outside. Please refer to the product label for complete instructions on treating lawns for fleas. Pets that go inside and out should be treated to help prevent fleas being brought in. Demon Max is labeled for flies and there is not another insecticide we would recommend mixing with it. ExciteR could be added to it to give a faster knockdown during initial application though. Horseflies and many other species of biting flies tend to develop on the edge of bodies of water and since they are strong fliers these breeding areas can be near or far which makes finding the source next to impossible. Using Demon Max will give some relief but since these flies can fly over treated areas it can be tough to get complete control. Relief should be on the way soon, however as horsefly season is usually only 3-6 weeks long.
Demon Max will kill leaf cutter ants that are directly contacted with the spray but will have no result on the ants that stay in the nest. Leaf cutter ants can be a difficult pest to get rid of. The colonies are large and the ants make their own food so poison baits only have limited effects on this species of ants. According to several university websites MaxForce Ant Bait Granules containing hydramethlynon are somewhat effective, though they will usually eliminate only about 30% of a large colony in one treatment and will need to be reapplied several times. DeltaGard Granules are one of the only products actually labeled for leaf cutter ants. The product label recommends treating the mounds directly and lightly watering the granules in. Again, it may take several treatments to get the desired results. We also recommend contacting your local cooperative extension office to see if they have any recommendations for products that have worked for other people in your region.
Demon Max will provide approximately 30 days residual outdoors, and 90 days residual indoors. Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.
Per the Demon Max product label, you would mix 1/2 oz to 1 oz per gallon of water. It is not a contact kill. When treating for roaches we also recommend using an insect growth regulator such as Gentrol IGR and a roach bait gel such as the Advion Roach bait gel for faster and more complete control. We also offer a Roach Bait Kit, that contains all of the components you need for a complete roach control program.
Demon Max can be used under second story porches for spider control. Be sure to mix the product at 1.3 fl oz per gallon of water. This can be done every 21 days as needed.
It will be difficult for any product to last over 30 days in extreme heat and direct sunlight, however, we would recommend an encapsulated product for the longest residual. Demon Max has an oil base, while the Bifen IT is a water-based insecticide (Bifen XTS is oil-based). It may last a bit longer than Bifen IT, but would have similar residual to Bifen XTS. Great options for longer residual in more severe weather would be either Suspend Polyzone or Cyzmic CS.
Yes, if you were to pressure wash an area where Demon Max was applied, you likely will need to reapply. If you can, pressure wash first, and then apply the Demon Max after the area has dried.
Demon Max is an oil based product labeled mostly for use outdoors, with labeling for cracks and crevices indoors. Demon Max can cause staining because of the oil base that it contains. If you are looking for scorpion control for your home you could use Demand CS, Cy-Kick CS or Onslaught FastCap.
Demon Max should not be applied pet bedding, pets or carpet. It is not used for indoor flea eradication.
