I applied this to our yard that is covered with landscaping rock (we live in Arizona). We have been having a problem for almost a year now with the common brown dog tick. I noticed after a few applications, that I was not seeing any insects, but my dogs were continuing to come inside from being out in the yard with the dog ticks on them. This just didn't seem to touch the ticks.

There could be several reasons for this but the #1 reason is that the ticks are simply not coming into contact with the treated areas The #2 reason is reinfestation from wildlife passing through. A friend was having problems with roaches in the house, so I read about Demon Max and sprayed the house for her. I could not believe the amount of dead roaches, have not had any since then. I've since used this to get rid of fire ants and carpenter ants. Works Great.

Good product really flush the roaches out but did not have the knock down effect it advertises roaches just seem to crawl right through it

I was very disappointed. I sprayed every day with the Demon Max. The mosquitoes and flies were still bad. No effect.

Thank you for your review. We apologize you have not seen the expected results. We would like to take some time out to help troubleshoot with you. Any flying insects are going to be more difficult to treat just because it's a possibility they won't come in contact with the insecticide, so more applications are necessary. However, we strongly encourage you to read and follow all label directions when using insecticides. Using more product than directed or applying too frequently is wasteful, dangerous, and ineffective. Please take a few moments to review our excellent treatment guides for the pests you have stated. I spray it directly on the roach bugs and it does not kill them then. Just how is it going to kill them if they crawl across it dried up on any surface like wood or sheet rock. It has not worked for me.

While Demon Max contains the strongest active ingredient available for an insecticide, it is not a contact kill. Insects that are sprayed directly will die faster but it may take a few minutes or so for them to die. After application it may take a few hours up to 24 or more for insects to die after contacting the treated areas.

I must say the stuff works. My wife moved in and was terrified of the cockroaches,which I had grown accustomed to since the city wouldn't let me cut down my oak tree. Anyway, I sprayed Demon Max around my house and on the window sills. Every time we found a cockroach, they were either drunk and about to die or dead on their back. This stuff also kills flying insects after they land in it. I watched a fly land on a treated window sill. The fly jumped down from the window sill on the floor. It didn't die immediately but it wouldn't fly either. A few minutes later, he was dead. All insects that managed to get inside from my windows, died on my window sills. Just had a baby in July and the in-laws were concerned about the baby and the use of Demon Max. Even though the product description says its kid and pet safe, I stopped in-house use and went outside with it. Again, this stuff works. Its been about 2 weeks and I I've only seen one cockroach make it in the house for his final resting place. I've also seen a few dead on the outside of my house. The fact that its oiled based is a good deal too, since it rains pretty often in New Orleans. Also, Demon Max uses the same active ingredient you'll find in Raid. So if you're wondering if it works...does Raid? (rhetorical question)

While the Demon Max label doesn't list springtails, it is the ONLY stuff I have found that kills them - very good residual.

Demon Max at 1.0 concentrate spray kills all pest including spiders in south east texas. I've used Demon in the packets several times before. But the max does great! Lasting up to six months without spiders, ants, roaches.

I had a local company install and service a bug spray system with unknown chemical for the past 2 years with minimal to no results. When this arrived I sprayed first with a pump then put remainder in my 55 gal drum and after 2 weeks I have noticed a difference. If it continues this good I will continue to use. Pleasure doing business with DoMyOwn, knowledgeable staff and prompt delivery. Why drive 60 miles to purchase when it is delivered free to my door, and at a reasonable price.

I used to use Cyper WP around my home to control black and brown widow spiders as well as the large grass spiders and cockroaches that occasionally sneak into my home. That stuff was great but they discontinued it and now Demon Max is the only available replacement. Demon Max has something else added to it that makes it smell horrible for days after application. It's so nasty that if I spray it outside my doors I have to evacuate the house for 48 hours or else live with a nauseating, throat-burning smell that permeates every room in my home. Basically anywhere that you would actually apply this product, you should not apply it - unless you're planning to go on vacation and get your pets out of the home for a couple of days.

I have been using this for years. It is what most professional pest control companies use. Why pay an arm and leg to have someone provide pest control when you can do it yourself.

I've been fighting with Terminix for years over swarming termites in May. They have not been able to eliminate them ever! I sprayed this around my house and they were gone the same day!! I love this stuff!!

Since I've used demon max I've noticed a 95% decrease in the number of bugs on my patio. Usually the lights attract bugs an now I don't see them anymore. I've seen 1 cockroach that was dead an maybe 2 or 3 other dead bugs. Since I have a terrible phobia of cockroaches I thought I would need to use more than the suggested amount needed but that wasn't so. I was able to spray my entire house an the outside with a little left over. I have a dog which I thought might be affected but when using the right amount, the odorless solution didn't cause any problems. It dries quick and didn't stain any of my carpet or furniture. I may never have to buy another can of bug spray again. I don't know how long it will last but I'll probably spray again before the summer is over because of my phobia. I recommend this product 100%. I was trying to buy Demand CS, but accidentally ordered Demon Max. After going through a hassle with customer service, I decided to use the Demon max. It is a good product for immediate control of ants, but not very residual. I did a full spray, twice, in a matter of two weeks. I am still seeing ants where I sprayed, granted not as many ants.

living in Florida we are bombarded year around by all kinds of insects, some dangerous, some destroy plants, some eat wood and cause property damage or destroy lawns, and there are those that are just plain pesky. I was looking for a one product that fits all and long lasting. A friend came across Demon Max and told me how good it was and what it could do, so at the $77.00 asking price I began to gather information from all sources. So, it would turn out that Demon Max Has a solid reputation and at a mixing ratio of 1 ounce per gallon is far more economical than the stuff in stores. One example: I have a screened in pool that was continually infested with egg laying spiders. After removing the egg pods and webs then spraying with the big brand name mixtures the spiders were only to return within hours. Didn't happen that way with Demon Max Spiders are gone even after a Rain. Best of all having 4 cats it's harmless to animals and tender plants. Will repurchase it as I need it.

Neighbor bombed there house we ended up with roaches. I ordered demon max sprayed the yard and the house and boom there gone. Since then I've sprayed my neighbors also and we're almost bug free except for pesky mosquitoes. Thanks do my own for the quick shipment of demon max.

I use Demon Max as a perimeter spray and it works great controlling spiders, ants, and bees around the outside of my house. The only drawback I have found is the smell. It has a very strong odor.

I moved into an old house that had not been sprayed by anyone in a few years. I was seeing multiple roaches in multiple rooms every day. I sprayed with this stuff and I have not seen a live roach since I sprayed a month ago. Plenty of dead ones though. Highly recommended.

Sprayed it on the eaves and rakes of the house, and the wasps dont perch up there anymore. Have dead wasps and other unknown bugs laying dead on the porch everyday(love it). After the summer heat is over, I will remove and treat the screens. Hopefully we can leave the windows open at night without waking up to house full of tiny flies.

Well used this item before with huge success however this time the use was like pouring water on weeds. Not happy at this point. will try to complete the bottle and hope for better results
