    I have a 0.3 ounce packet of Demon WP Insecticide. How many gallons of water do you use?
    A

    Each 0.3 oz packet of Demon WP is used in one gallon of water. Two 0.3 oz packets can be used in one gallon of water to eliminate harder to kill insects.

    Will Demon WP kill book lice in books and papers?
    I had some books stored in a plastic sterling tub during the summer in Ga. Now, they are infested with book lice. I sprayed Demon WP inside a trash bag, added said books and papers, and sealed the bag. Will this likely kill adult and hatchling book lice if I leave it sealed for a month?

    Can Demon WP Insecticide be used for mange mite?
    A

    Demon WP Insecticide cannot be applied to animals. We do carry Happy Jacks Kennel Dip II which is labeled for mange mites.

    Is Demon WP a good substitute for Cynoff WP?
    I have a roach infestation and was looking for Cynoff WP, but I see it's been discontinued. Is Demon the same thing?

    Cynoff WP is actually a generic version of the Demon WP Insecticide.  Both products contain the same active ingredient and work the same way.

    What happens if an animal comes into contact with Demon WP before it has dried?
    A

    Animals should always be kept out of the area where Demon WP is being applied until the area has completely dried.  If you think that a pet or other animal has come into contact with a treated area that is still wet, it would be best to contact the manufacturer directly for advice on what action should be taken.  You can reach Syngenta by calling 866-796-4368.

    How long does Demon WP take to kill a fly if it perched on a sprayed surface?
    if a fly perch on a sprayed surface that has been treated or sprayed with demon wp,how long will it take for the fly to die?
    A

    Depending on the size and health of the fly and the amount of Demon WP it contacts, it generally would take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours for an insect like a fly to die after contacting an area treated with Demon WP. For a very quick kill for flying insects, we recommend Maxforce Fly Spot Bait or Alpine Pressurized Fly Bait.

    Is Demon WP effective against springtails?
    A

    Demon WP Insecticide is not labeled for springtails. We suggest Onslaught as it is labeled for springtails and should help you to control them when used as directed on the product label. You will not get complete springtail control until you locate the source of the springtails and correct the conditions that are allowing them to thrive.     Would high temperatures affect application of Demon WP when treating for fleas outdoors?
    A

    Demon WP Insecticide will not be affected by the heat unless you are applying to plants.  It can burn them if applied during very high temperatures.  It would be best to apply in the morning or evening when temperatures are cooler.

    How often do you have to reapply Demon WP Insecticide to kill infestation of carpenter ants in an oak tree?
    A

    We normally would not recommend to use Demon WP Insecticide for carpenter ants. Although, it will kill the ants that contact it, it will not eliminate the colonies. 

    We generally recommend using Dominion 2L for carpenter ants in trees. This can be used directly on the tree or as a soil drench.

    Is the Demon WP the best product to use indoors for "crazy" ants?
    A

    Demon WP can be used to treat the crazy ant infestation inside or outside in the yard. You should try to treat the colony or nesting site directly. Crazy Ant mounds are not readily visible above ground. Possible nesting sites for Crazy Ants include: soil beneath landscape timbers, logs, mulch firewood and other debris.     How long does the treatment Demon WP take to kill the roaches?
    A

    Can I use Demon in a thermal fogger?
    A

    Demon WP should NOT be applied in a mister, misting system or fogger only a hand pump sprayer or backpack sprayer. We do carry products that can be applied for this application.

    Can I mix a more diluted Demon WP Insecticide solution while keeping the same dosage per sq. ft for outdoor application?
    The recommended mix is 1-2 scoops per gallon water, and that is supposed to cover 1000 SF. In my opinion its difficult to make 1 gallon last over a 1000 SF coverage. Can I mix 1-2 scoops in 2 or 5 gallon water while keeping the same SF coverage?

    Per label, you are to dilute 1-2 envelops Demon WP Insecticide per gallon water. So, if it takes 2 gallons water to cover 1000sq feet, we recommend to mix 2 envelopes in the two gallons water.

    My 65 pound dog ate some grass with dried Demon WP on it. Will he be okay tonight?
    A

    As long as the Demon WP Insecticide treated area was allowed to dry (and the product was applied as directed) there should not be a concern of harm to your dog that would eat the grass it has been applied to.  That being said we would recommend contacting your vet or poison control if your dog does start to show any illness.

    How much Demon WP should be used in a 25 gallon tank?
    A

    The mix rate for Demon WP Insecticide is 1-2 packets per gallon of water. You would need at minimum 25 packets added to 25 gallons of water.  You may want to look at Demon Max, which has the same active ingredient, but it is a liquid concentrate so it may be easier to mix for larger applications.

    Can I use Demon WP above a drop ceiling?
    I have Demon WP packets for treating basement apartment (drop ceiling) and un finished garage/storage area. Spiders are everywhere above ceiling, under stairs, all over the back of house and deck. Roaches and centipedes.

    Demon WP Insecticide when used inside is only applied to cracks and crevices.  It could be used in the drop ceiling around vents and other entry points that allow insects in.
