    I have a 0.3 ounce packet of Demon WP Insecticide. How many gallons of water do you use?
    A

    Each 0.3 oz packet of Demon WP is used in one gallon of water. Two 0.3 oz packets can be used in one gallon of water to eliminate harder to kill insects.

    Do I have to be licensed to purchase and apply Demon around my home?
    A

    You do not need to be licensed to purchase or treat your own home/property with Demon WP Insecticide. If you plan to treat another home (ie neighbor, family, friends house etc) then you need to be licensed within your state first.

    Will Demon WP kill book lice in books and papers?
    I had some books stored in a plastic sterling tub during the summer in Ga. Now, they are infested with book lice. I sprayed Demon WP inside a trash bag, added said books and papers, and sealed the bag. Will this likely kill adult and hatchling book lice if I leave it sealed for a month?

    Can Demon WP Insecticide be used for mange mite?

    Demon WP Insecticide cannot be applied to animals. We do carry Happy Jacks Kennel Dip II which is labeled for mange mites.

    Will Demon WP kill millipedes?
    A

    Yes, Demon WP can be used to control millipedes and dozens of other common crawling and flying pests. Be sure to check for ways to reduce moisture buildup in the environment to create an environment less favorable for these insects, such as pulling back groundcover and trimming plants near the foundation of structures.

    Does Demon WP kill lice?
    I think it's obvious you can't use Demon WP on your body, but would it kill lice on furniture and things like that?

    Demon WP Insecticide is not labeled for lice or to be applied for furniture.  Steri-Fab Insecticide would be a better option.  It can be applied to couches, chairs and other upholstered furniture.

    Is Demon WP a good substitute for Cynoff WP?
    I have a roach infestation and was looking for Cynoff WP, but I see it's been discontinued. Is Demon the same thing?

    Cynoff WP is actually a generic version of the Demon WP Insecticide.  Both products contain the same active ingredient and work the same way.

    Is it okay to spray Demon WP on Limestone blocks skirting around your house?
    Does it break down the material of the Limestone block
    A

    Demon WP should not damage limestone or any rock or other surface. Demon WP does leave a visible white residue on darker surfaces, but that should not leave any permanent stain. We recommend testing a small area first if you are concerned about this residue.

    Does Demon WP kill on contact or does it take a few minutes?

    Demon WP Insecticide is not a contact kill; this product is a residual and can take up to one week before seeing results. We would suggest doing treatments every 21 days while treating for an active roach infestation.

    What is the consequence of using a mixture of Demon WP from a few months ago?
    I mixed Demon WP with water to use a few months ago but I mixed far too much. I am not sure how to dispose of it and was told I could reuse it...
    A

    Using diluted Demon WP after it has been mixed 24 hours or longer would not be advised. The reason being is that the active ingredient will start to break down and cause the solution to become less effective. You can pour the old mixture outside, right up against the foundation of the structure you are treating.

    What happens if an animal comes into contact with Demon WP before it has dried?
    A

    Animals should always be kept out of the area where Demon WP is being applied until the area has completely dried.  If you think that a pet or other animal has come into contact with a treated area that is still wet, it would be best to contact the manufacturer directly for advice on what action should be taken.  You can reach Syngenta by calling 866-796-4368.

    When can I wash my floors after applying Demon WP?
    A

    We generally recommend cleaning surfaces before applying residual insecticides such as Demon WP. If you are scrubbing an area with soap and water or other cleaning products, then you would also be removing the residual insecticide, so you would not clean those areas after spraying unless you also want to remove the insecticide or plan on retreating again soon. Keep in mind that Demon WP should be used indoors only as a spot or crack and crevice spray.

    A day after your house is sprayed with Demon WP Insecticide, what if a child drops food on the floor and then eats it? Is it poisonous to them?

    We do not recommend that your child eat the food that fell into the treated crevice that was recently treated with Demon WP Insecticide. Have the product container, label or Safety Data Sheet with you when calling Syngenta (800-888-8372), a poison contol center or doctor, or going for treatment if needed.

    Will Demon WP kill the human scabies mite in the home, car interiors, furniture, etc?
    As well as the canine scabies mite throughout home too? If not, can you suggest one that will?

    Demon WP Insecticide is not labeled for scabies.  Scabies mites live on/in the skin and we do not carry anything to treat humans. Most folks need to visit their doctor to receive the medication needed to get rid of scabies. You may spray your furniture with a product such as Steri-fab to kill anything on furniture, though treating the home is usually not necessary.

    How long does Demon WP take to kill a fly if it perched on a sprayed surface?
    if a fly perch on a sprayed surface that has been treated or sprayed with demon wp,how long will it take for the fly to die?
    A

    Depending on the size and health of the fly and the amount of Demon WP it contacts, it generally would take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours for an insect like a fly to die after contacting an area treated with Demon WP. For a very quick kill for flying insects, we recommend Maxforce Fly Spot Bait or Alpine Pressurized Fly Bait.

    Can Demon WP kill red flour beetles?
    Bought a fairly new rv, great condition. Seem to have a red flour beetle battle on my hands. No signs of food/grain, even in floor ducts. Cleaned, vacuumed every cabinet, floor, surface, nook, cranny and duct. They come back a day later to no avail. Rv is in new location so local infestation/infiltration not relevant. Is it possible they are in the interior paneling?? How do I eradicate these buggers without ripping my rv apart? Help!

    Demon WP is not labeled to control pantry pests, although it would likely kill any that contacted it. For the best control of a stored product pest such as the red flour beetle, it is really essential to keep looking for and to locate that initial source to get full control of the infestation. You can then vacuum and clean infested areas, treat cracks and crevices with a residual insecticide, and use traps for the adult insects. Gentrol Complete is a great spray to use since it includes both insecticide and Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) in one product. You can use GreenWay Pantry Patrol Traps for a pheromone trap.
