    Q
Is Demon WP absorbed into plant roots?
My exterminator accidently sprayed my blueberry and raspberry plants. They were very small plants, as its spring, so I cut them all down to ground level removing all sprayed branches and leaves. Should this be ok or is demon wp absorbed through the roots? Does it remain a safety concern being in the dirt?
    A

No, Demon WP is not absorbed through the roots of your plants but if your blueberry and raspberry plants have been sprayed with this product, you will need to discard them and skip harvesting for one growing season.

    Q
Is Demon WP Insecticide safe to use around a large inground pool to treat fire ants?
    A

Demon WP Insecticide should not be used closed to the pool where runoff will occur. We would advise that you use a bait in those areas like Extinguish but still try to not have it to close where runoff might occur.

    Q
I have stained concrete flooring in my house with black baseboards. Will Demon WP Insecticide hurt the stained concrete floor?
    A

Demon WP Insecticide will leave behind a white visible residue and can stain anything that is dark in color. You should choose a water based insecticide such as Bifen IT or Temprid FX. Be sure to review the product labels so you will know if they are suitable for your applications.

How much areas will one package of Demon WP Insecticide cover and how long does it last?

    Q
Can you spray Demon WP around a gas furnace ?
We have fleas in my attic and the gas furnace is up there, can we spray the area the furnace is in?
    A

Demon WP is no labeled for flea control inside at all so would not be ercommended. We would recommend our Indoor Flea Kit.  Here is a great video on how to use our Indoor Kit.  You can spray areas around the furnace just not in any vents.

    Q
    Pre or post guests? Firewood?
I have guests coming to stay, and I know they have the large roaches. Should I spray this and an IGR Before the guests arrive? Or wait until after they leave? I used to use Demon WP and an IGR for fleas but haven't in a few years (will need to check expiration dates). I have an elderly cat and kitten I will keep out of the area until very dry- how long??
    A
You can spray Demon WP Insecticide with the IGR before the guests arrive. The dry time usually takes a couple of hours.

    Q
I think Demon WP Insecticide was on spoon I ate from what do I do?
    A

Demon WP Insecticide should not be scooped out with, or near, any utensils that will be used for food. The packets are already pre-measured and can be poured directly into the sprayer. If you truly believe the product was on a spoon you ate from, you should call the poison control hotline. If you start to feel anything other than normal, please seek medical attention immediately!

    Q
My plants died immediately after using Demon WP
I have been using Demon WP for years and always spray my plants on the east side of my home because I get centipedes that eat the leaves. Today, I spray my plants from top to bottom, and within an hour or two, they all look dead. I'm wondering what I did wrong? Did I use too much? I could still smell the spray hours later.
    A

Demon WP Insecticide doesn't possess any properties that can harm a plant as it is only an insecticide, and a water based one at that. We would need to know how many packets per gallon you used, and how many gallons you used total to spray around the home that day. Were the plants already under any stress from heat or disease? Anything used in that sprayer recently like an herbicide that could have had a slight residual still in the tank to impact the plants?

    Q
Can I mix Demon WP with Temprid FX for severe German Roach infestation? I am looking for a second insecticide to mix with Demon WP that is compatible.
    A

No, Demon WP Insecticide and Temprid FX cannot be mixed together. If you are treating for roaches you will want to select an insect growth regulator such as Gentrol IGR Concentrate to tank mix with an insecticide as this will help interrupt the reproduction cycle of the juvenile roaches. We would recommend using Temprid FX over Demon WP for the dual mode of action effect Temprid FX offers where Demon WP will only kill the roaches that contact the treated areas. Repeat applications are required in additon to proper sanitation and cleaning during the treatment.

Spraying alone is not going to eliminate a German Roach infestation as they require a combination of products and repeat treatments every 14 days. Our Roach Control Kits contain some of the top professional grade products such as Temprid FX, Gentrol Pointe Source Packs and Roach Bait Gel to effectively treat for German Roaches. Each Kit contains a different roach bait to help avoid any bait aversion or bait resistance. Roach Control Kit A contains FC Magnum which is a cleanout bait for fast kill and great transfer effect throughout the colony. After 90 days, you will want to rotate to Kit B or Kit C to offer a roach bait with a different bait matrix/food attractant.

Please take a moment to review our Roach Treatment Guide for step by step instructions and our Roach Control Kit Video for more information.

    Q
Why didn't Demon WP Insecticide work? I sprayed over a week ago, followed the product label instructions and it only killed a few roaches that touched the area, what did I do wrong?
    A

Demon WP Insecticide is only going to kill the insects (roaches) that come into contact with the treated areas, it does not transfer throughout the colony which would be why you are only seeing a few dead insects.

For treating an active roach infestation, you need to use a combination of products and repeat treatments every 14 days. One week or 1 -2 treatments is not enougth to eliminate an active roach colony as majority of the colony is hiding in accessible areas.

We recommend one of our Roach Control Kits that provide you with professional grade products for the initial treatment and 2-3 follow up treatments. Each kit contains the residual insecticide Temprid FX, Gentrol Pointe Source IGR Packs and a roach bait gel.
Roach Kit A contains FC Magnum Roach Bait which contains 5 times the amount of Fipronil active ingredient providing superior transfer effect throughout a roach colony. This roach bait is commonly used when first starting a roach treatment program. If still baiting after 60-90 days, you can rotate to Kit B or Kit C to offer a different bait/food attractant.

Click HERE to watch a video on How to Apply Roach Control Kit A and take a few moments to review our Roach Treatment Guide for more details on the necessary steps for a successful treatment.
