I had wasp killers tearing up my back yard. If you aren't familiar with these, they are fairly large insect that burros underground to lay their eggs. Their tunnels can be 6' long with an egg every couple of inches, when the egg is laid the mother kills 1 or 2 wasp and puts them by the egg for nourishment when they hatch. I mixed up a gallon of Demon WP, and everywhere I found a tunnel, I poured it in. I haven't found any new tunnels since, and I am hoping that it also killed the eggs, otherwise I will get new holes when they come out.

I use this for residential pest control, inside and outside basement foundation, as well as inside household along baseboards. This works very well, killing roaches and the likes for over 6 months. A single packet in a sprayer will cover 3000 square foot home with some to spare. Drop the packet in and go....

I've used this several times and it has kept all insects away for at least a year at a time with one application. I haven't sprayed in a long time, but it has rained almost constantly for months now, and for the first time in 3 years I'm seeing a roach problem so I'm about to use it again. I have a small house, but I can do my whole house inside and out with less than the 4 packets that come inside the bag. The bags are less than $15 (4 packets) which is extremely comparable to other insecticides that are much less effective. You won't be disappointed!

I think we should start receiving a commision/discount for the number of people who we have recommended this product to and who have actually bought it:) just saying. This product is very effective and having used the product in FL and now in TX where we live, the results have been consistently great. We recommend it our friends, relatives and neighbors alike. We will continue to recommend this product as long as it continues to be effective-free of charge:) One should never hold back a good recommendation.

I live out in the "sticks" here in Texas. I had been having a bad problem with scorpions, seemed like every other day, if not every day I was finding a scorpion in the house. I had it when I woke to a scorpion crawling on my face! Luckily I didn't get stung when I swatted it off. I had used stuff from Wally World and casa depot and no solid results. I got my order of Demon WP. I used a 2 gallon pressure sprayer, filled it up half way, threw in 2 packets, topped it off and shook it up a bit. I sprayed around the house (outside) and along the base boards and in every possible crevice I could find. Within days I was finding multiple dead scorpions and other bugs in random rooms throughout the house. I've also noticed that fleas and ants are not much of problem this year. I would highly recommend this product. Easy to use and covers a good area. Lasts a long time.

I got the recommendation of this insecticide from a friend who swares by it. I am very impressed at the different types of insects it kills. Home use: I am currently having a battle with fleas in the house and was not sure this was what I needed but I figured I would give it a try. Used by itself it works wonders on the adult fleas but in 7-10 days the new hatch starts up. So you definately need to use this in combination with something that inhibits the groth and life cycle of the eggs/larvae. I was also suggested Precor area spray for this purpose. So far so good. I also have silverfish/earwigs in a great abundance. This takes them out with no questions asked. Work use: I also wanted to use this in the warehouse that I manage. There have always been "daddy long-legs" and other various spiders as well as the larger roaches called "waterbugs" down here in the south. I sprayed a 40' perimeter around and in my office almost 2 weeks ago and am continuing to find new dead bugs all over. The only reason I gave this 4 stars is because of the ineffectiveness on the "daddy long-legs". Apparently they are pretty resiliant to this and require something else to take care of them. Overall I am pleased with this product and will continue to use it. Also being that it is one of the cheapest and dealing with DoMyOwnPestControl.com is so easy.

Demon is great for bugs. Been using it for over 10 years and just started buying it from the DMO Pest Control website. I use it every 2 months while I am in Florida to keep the bugs out, including Palmetto (roaches). I spray outside the house along with the inside. While up north I use it inside and outdoors also. The price is awesome compared to an exterminator's price.

I have been using demon for several years and a friend sent me this site for a 1 pound jar instead of the packets. The powder is much cheaper and not any trouble at all to use. I recieved the package so fast I didn't even know what it was. Keep up the great work. I passed this along to friends who have already purchased the same product.

This is my second purchase of Demon WP. With outside applications only 3x per year, Demon keeps all insects outside where they belong. The only issue we sometimes run across is small ants that seem to travel along electrical wires during the summer but to be fair, Demon WP doesn't claim to control those so overall I'm very happy with the product and will purchase again. The dissolving packets eliminate any mess and are a breeze to use.

Unreal product and even more unreal results. I've passed this name along to everyone I know. I tried to think of any negatives and the only thing I can say is that this stuff doesn't spray itself. All you need to do is mix it up, spray it, and get your broom out the next day because you're going to find dead bugs everywhere. Demon can't be beat, period.

We have used Demon XP on our log cabin for 8 yrs to get rid off/keep boring bees from our home as well as all the soft pine used for our porches. Needs to be applied every spring but a great product.

I just sprayed the outside of our home about 3 hours ago. Already I am finding dead bugs along the house. Stuff is no joke. You want more cluck for your buck and a guarantee that you don't have any watered down crap such as what Lowes, home depot or walmart sells. Get demon wp. Thank you domyownpestcontrol. And thank you to the makers of Demon WP, next purchase is Cyper Wp so the bugs can't adapt over time.

This product worked like it said it would. I have been fighting ants in my home for years. Even the professional exterminators could not get rid of them. They would always show up in a different location, including my bathroom ceiling. Since using this product inside and outside along the foundation I have had NO bugs except for the dead ones for the first few days.

I am not an expert but after using products purchased at home depot for an extented period and still having a roach problem. I started using Demon wp along with a maxium force product. The demon wp they noted was good for 3 months, I used both products every two weeks for two months. Now I see no roaches and have started a once a month spraying program.

I recently moved into a house that has been vacant for a year. Load of spiders and ants and other crawling things. I laid down my 3 inch barrier on the house and then the rocks or grass. Tons of bugs as soon as I laid down the barrier. I would normally be confident with that but there were a lot of bugs running due to it being vacant for so long. I used this for the last 10 years at my home and apartments works great. I also have cat inside so I don't use it in the house but it has worked so well that spraying outside is all I ever need. I used this and the wall bait to stop a roach infestation in my apartment due to a cat hoarder downstairs. I will never use anything else. I tell anyone who will listen to come to this website.

I love the effectiveness of Demon against scorpions here in Arizona. I also continue to purchase the product since it has a long lasting residual and holds up well agaist the blazing summer sun in Phoenix. However, a source of aggravation is the packaging in the supposed "disolvable" bags they say you can just drop into your spray equipment. Well, I find they don't fully disolve and end up clogging up my sprayers. They have ruined several spray heads. That being said, I now cut open the little bags and dump the powder in my spray equipment so I don't have issues. Why did they get rid of the tubs of powder? It seems to have made things more difficult in order for me to use a product I know that works better than most others for my needs. I am quite annoyed by this and it has been quite a hassel when it comes time for me to perform pest control.treatments.

I saw a couple of American roaches in my basement and encountered one or two in a month long period in the house. Our neighbors said they had seen a few also. Thinking I had a minor problem but sure it was only a few I decided I could not have this. Ordered Demon WP and mixed up a batch and sprayed around the outside of my stucco house. It is elevated and has a ground floor basement. I also have a raised wooden deck, I sprayed every surface I could. Within 30 minutes the roaches were falling out of nooks and crannies. Being now mortified at the size of the problem I collected every dead roach I could find. Around 50 in one day. Only 2 have shown up dead in the subsequent days. Boy does this stuff work. If you have roach problem get this stuff now. Roaches don't move after encountering this stuff.

By far the best stuff ever,don't throw away money on the so called(Professionals),I use this and so does my entire family.!Within 30 min max of spraying,everything in the path is dead or dying.The reason people have problems killing spiders with any poison is that they have longer legs than any other bug,thus not touching the treated surface with all there body parts,try using the sticky pads along with spaying if using for spiders.I would highly recommend this to anyone.

I live in Houston Texas and my area has a huge tree roach problem. The big ones! Like hear a nasty meaty crunch when you stomp on them big. They have invaded my house this early spring. Popping up everywhere inside. Sprayed this along the top and bottom of my house. Plus all windows the whole front porch, just everywhere I thought a bug would go. Killing started happening instantly. Within 20 minutes of me completing the house, those huge tree roaches were coming out of no where. Roaches moving at a snail pace dying. I watched one dash then went into slow mo then just die. Best stuff ever. Will forever buy.

After being bitten last summer by a brown recluse in our bedroom, we researched and found an article that said Demon WP was our best shot. It worked wonders! After using two applications around our house and attic last summer and fall, we found over 80 dead brown recluse. Before spraying we had only seen 4 of the spiders, but afterwards they were dead everywhere, mostly along the baseboards. Very pleased with this product! It has allowed me to sleep without fearing those awful spiders! We are going to spray again early this spring to catch any that went into hibernation before Demon WP could get to them.

Awesome product. I've used it for over 10 years in my office and now in my home on 5 acres. It, along with a once over my immediate yard with insect granules in the spring, limits the outside cockroach problem to only a few stragglers a year due to open doors and/or windows. I spray the base boards and the perimeter of the house each year and we're covered. In this part of Texas where its hot and humid, Demon WP is a tremendous relief. Thanks!

I had ants crawling around the boiler and exterior walls on the ground floor of my split-level home. I sprayed this stuff around the foundation outside and used a weaker concentration along the baseboard inside. Within 24 hours there were dead ants everywhere inside, and I have not seen any more ants since! I also used the spray in the areas under the deck where I have battle wasp nests every year, the wasps are gone, it's been a month and still no new nests. I could not be happier. Still have plenty left in the jar for next year.

This product works! I bought this along with the 1 gal Chapin sprayer for doing home perimeter spray treatment. I sprayed the perimeter and garage and door entrance ways just like you see in the "how to" video at the website. I did this treatment because warm weather is coming, and I always get spiders coming in. Not any more! Well, they still do get in, but they only make it a couple of inches before they drop dead! Just a couple of days after treatment, I checked my back door where they like to sneak in, and found several large carcasses all shriveled up! I highly recommend this product.

It seems to do the job. I have a pretty bad roach infestation in my kitchen and was starting to spread to other areas of the house. We completely cleaned out the kitchen cabinets and sprayed everything down. After the spray down I noticed the roaches moving about rather slow and peculiar. Next day I noticed several roach bodies laying around. Three weeks later along with the help of bait the infestation is definitely dwindling down! Great product!! Highly recommend this stuff plus the name of it is fitting lol!

My daughter wouldn't come out to our new ranch because of the spiders and scorpions. One application of Demon WP Insecticide got rid of every last one around the house and barn! Like someone else here said, we find a row of dead bugs, spiders, scorpions, even flying insects like wasps when we arrive every weekend. They are all lined up along the "spray line". It is an invisible fence! Now my daughter will come out because she is convinced she is "safe" in the house etc. I highly recommend this product.

Used the product to stop carpenter bees from boring holes in the log siding and facia board of my cabin. I found the product to work, but the problem was the bees would fly around until they found a small place you missed about the size of a quarter and bore a hole.  When you're doing a whole house with a pump sprayer it is very difficult to cover every square inch.  So my recommendation would be to use something else to put the product on with but this would be very timely.

June 6, 2013 (updated review) This is an update to our initial review (below). It is now approximately 1-year and 3-months since the first application of Demon WP. We recently applied another application of Demon WP (outside only), not because we were seeing any critters, but 15-months seemed like a long time. 15-months on one application fits my schedule very well and what a good insecticide should do! We might try stretching to 18-months before we apply again. AWESOME PRODUCT! TRY IT - You're wife, your wallet and your free time will be glad you did! March 25, 2012 (original review) Our home is in a heavily wood area north of Houston, Texas. From the first day we moved in we were seeing a lot of spiders, both inside the house and the garage. We treated the exterior with Diazonon once a year and ended the spider problem. When Diazonon became no longer available, we switched to professional exterminator services. After trying numerous different professional exterminators, and still having spiders, we tired of wasting money on the "professionals". We decided to return to DIY pest control method. After much research we decided to try the Demon WP product. We used 2 scoops per gallon and sprayed inside and outside both the house and the garage. While spraying in the garage we sprayed a medium sized spider directly. It was legs up in seconds. Upon closer examination we found it to be a young black widow spider. YIKES! While spraying inside the house we sprayed a medium sized wolf spider directly. It walked right through a puddle of Demon and just kept going. We kept an eye on him and about an hour later he was balled up dead. Interesting that this product kills black widows in a matter of seconds, but it takes about an hour to take out a wolf spider. The day after application we found quite a few dead wolf spiders, june bugs and Mosquitoes outside and no critters inside (dead or alive). We'll provide an update in a few months regarding the long term effectiveness of the DEMON WP product.

Amazing product. I had a problem with crickets in my garage. The day before I used Demon WP, I tried the Ortho Home Defense spray that you can get at any home improvement store. Ortho worked to kill crickets if I sprayed directly on them. I killed all the crickets I saw, but a couple of hours later there were a ton more, even though I had sprayed all the cracks and crevices. Well, the next day, I received Demon WP along with the plastic Chapin sprayer. Usually there are at least 20 crickets all over the walls of my garage. This morning, I went into my garage and checked again. This time there were a bunch of crickets on the garage floor...but they were all dead. Demon WP definitely works!

I am renting a property while building a home in SC. - Went to the patio to grill and saw half dozen palmetto bugs between patio surface and siding overlap along with obvious evidence of a nest that the exterminator for management company should have seen. Suspended grilling and mixed some Demon. 12 hrs later... 27 dead roaches on a 10x10 space. - Laying in bed and one skittered across my leg. Sprayed the interior margins of the living space and the only roach I've seen is a carcass. i appreciate insects but roaches and 'living' don't mix! Unfortunately, Demon is indiscriminate. My apologies for collateral damage but Demon is my 'go to insecticide' for barrier protection in SC as it was in KY.

My wife and I moved into a "new to us" 100 year old stone and mortar home 5 months ago, with a heavily wooded yard. We have had a moderate Oriental Roach problem (6-8 total in the house in 5 months, 12-15 a night outside the house). After hours of studying and consulatation from DMOPest control, I purchased the Demon WP. After 1 day of application, I found 15 dead roaches outside and 3 inside. 2nd day, 1 inside, 3 outside. It has been 3 days and have not seen any. I used the Demon WP along with the Gentrol IGR and Advion bait. 1 week today and we are very pleased with the results so far. I will spray again in 30 days.
