Bio Advanced 12 Month Tree & Shrub Insect Control Landscape Form  is not labeled to control ants at all.  If you need to spray a tree that has ants you can use Dominion which has the same active ingredient.  You would spray up to breast height on the tree itself and/or directly spot treat where they have a nest if you are dealing with carpenter ants.
