Do I need to add water to the Maxforce Granular Fly Bait in the bait stations?

I have a horse farm and we've installed 12 bait stations but I don't see them working yet and I was wondering if I need to add water and how often I need to add water? Thanks

Answer:

You can squirt some water on top of the Maxforce Granular Fly Bait to boost the effect of it. The label recommends to re-apply the bait every 7 days as needed. You may also apply it as a paint-on application and see if that works better according to your needs. Paint-on application: Mix 1.5 oz bait with 1 fl oz warm water (3 lbs bait in 1 quart water) and stir thoroughly. Let stand for about 15 minutes until a paste consistency suitable for painting has formed. Apply the paste with a brush to surfaces where flies rest avoiding surfaces that are dusty.
