Since this is a soil sterilizer, is it more productive to get the product on the soil rather than trying to coat the weed itself?
Sahara DG Herbicide will kill whatever it comes in contact with since it is a soil sterilant. Yes, it would be more productive to spray the soil but since it’s a non-selective, you can also mix it with a Glyphosate product, like RoundUp, to spray the weed itself for faster burndown. You will need to use a high volume of water when spraying or water in the application for best pre-emergent control. Sahara DG Herbicide has been discontinued, so if you don’t already have the product, Mojave 70 EG can be used as an alternative.
