I have hardy plank siding with a dark gray paint. I'm noticing some light spots after spraying.
When treating exterior foundations, siding, around windows, doors, etc using Bifen IT at the advised labeled rate of 0.5 to 1 fl oz per gallon of water, there should be no staining, discoloration or visible residue. Make sure you are shaking the contents of the sprayer when mixing and during the application to ensure the insecticide is completely suspended throughout the water, especially as the mixed solution gets low.
Per the Bifen IT product label: Bifen I/T will not discolor or otherwise harm surfaces that water alone will not discolor or otherwise harm
