Does Certainty damage tree roots?

We have Nutsedge covering our entire yard and our lawnkeepers want to spray Certainty over the entire area. Our concern is our trees. Will the product soak down to do damage to our tree roots??

Answer:

Certainty Herbicide does list on the label that it is safe around many woody ornamentals so it should not harm a healthy tree.
