    Q
Can Dominion 2L be used safely inside a home. If so, how long is the wait time for re-entry?
    A
Dominion 2L is only labeled for outside use around your foundation for termites and carpenter ants. What pest are you having a problem with on the inside? We do carry many other products labeled for inside use depending on what your issue is.

    Q
I have carpenter ants in a very large oak tree, can I use Dominion 2L Termiticide?
I can't drill holes to trench because huge roots prevent me from digging. I have Dominion 2L… what do I do? Do I spray around the ground of the tree and on the trunk? I can see where they are digging into the trunk by the evidence of rotted wood and saw dust on the ground… do I saturate those holes ?
    A

Dominion 2L Termiticide can be sprayed around and on the tree up to breast height. The holes you do see are best to be sprayed and completely covered.

    Q
I bought Dominion 2L to treat for ants entering my home. What is the mix ratio?
I think they told me to mix 2oz. per gallon of water in a hand sprayer and spray 2 feet up the out side wall and a band 2 feet wide on the ground,is that correct. Thank you.
    A
For outdoor topical ant treatment applying Dominion 2L, the mix should be 0.6 fluid ounces per gallon of water per 1,000 sq ft. You should only apply one foot up and one foot out directly around the structure. Please let us know if you need anything else.

    Q
Is Dominion 2L applied on the ground or on top of the foundation?
    A

Dominion 2L Termiticide/Insecticide can be used in the soil and/or around the foundation. Where you are using the product will depend on what you are treating for. For termites, you will dig a trench around the structure and apply directly to the soil. For pests, such as ants, you will apply topically one foot up and one foot out.

    Q
Does Dominion 2L Termiticide Concentrate kill ants, roaches, bed bugs, crickets, aphids?
    A

Dominion 2L Termiticide Concentrate cannot be used inside so is not labeled for bedbugs nor is it labeled for common crickets.  It can be used as a perimeter spray outside around the foundation for ants and roaches or as a systemic soil drench on plants/trees for aphids.  You can review the product label for the list of insects it controls and application instructions.

    Q
Does Dominion 2L leave a residue on concrete for ants to pick up?
Our home has a 2' wide concrete apron around most of the perimeter at ground level. The ground apron meets the block foundation. The block foundation extends 18” up from the concrete apron where it meets the siding. So there's really no soil to treat directly in contact with the foundation. We were going to spray Dominion 2L much like one would use Termidor for ant (not termite) control-- 1' up the foundation and 1' out from it and around the door and window frames-- but it looks like imidacloprid only binds to soil/foliage. Would Dominion leave a residue on the concrete foundation/apron or the door frames so that if the ants walked over it, it would eventually transfer back to the ant colony? If so, would this treatment need to be repeated every 30 days or so?
    A
You are exactly correct in how to apply the product around the foundation of the home and it does leave a residual behind. The longevity of the residual for termite control bonds to the soil for 7 years, but when used as a perimeter spray it will last at least 30 days on concrete/grass to control the ants. They will pick up the product without realizing it and transfer it back through the entire colony.

    Q
I want to use Dominion 2L on peach trees that have borers and ants. Is this ok?
    Am using on pecans already
    A
Dominion is not labeled for use on peach trees. We recommend you use a product that is labeled for ant and peach borers and can be used on edible vegetation. Martins Vegetable Plus spray would be a good choice for this type of treatment.
