    Q
Does Drive XLR8 Herbicide Crabgrass Killer kill sandburs?
    A

Drive XLR8 is not labeled to treat for Sandburs. The best method of treatment for Sandburs is with a pre-emergent before the Sandburs germinate. A good option for a pre-emergent would be Surflan AS Herbicide but please refer to the product label to be sure it's safe for the type of grass you have. You can check Ferti-Lome Weed Out with Crabgrass Killer, it is labeled for Goathead which is another name for Sandbur, please refer to the product label to be sure it's safe for the type of grass you have.

    Q
How soon can I reseed after applying Drive XLR8?
I see the chart on when I can apply Drive XLR8 to newly seeded areas, however I need the opposite answer to this question. I am going to reseed my lawn using a mixture by volume of 50% Kentucky Bluegrass and 50% Turf Type Fescue. How soon after applying the Drive XLR8 can I reseed? I hope you can answer this question as the last time I asked a question I never received an answer. I Thank You in advance.
    A

With the type of grass you are seeding with (Kentucky Bluegrass) according to the chart on the label you may either apply Drive XLR8 7 days prior to seeding or 28 days post seeding.

    Q
Can I use Drive XLR8 to kill bindweed in creeping juniper without harm to the juniper?
    A

Drive XLR8 Herbicide Crabgrass Killer is labeled to control bindweed, however it should only be applied in listed established turf.  We currently do not offer a product that will selectively work as a post control for morning glory (bindweed) in junipers.  You would need to hand pull or carefully spot treat with a non selective herbicide.

I planted Riviera seed 4 weeks ago. The Riviera has germinated but so has the crabgrass...bigtime! Is it safe to apply DRIVE to the Riviera sprouts at this time to control the crabgrass this early?
The crabgrass is really thickening up and I'm worried about it choking out the new Riviera grass.
    A

    Q
Will Drive XLR8 Herbicide Crabgrass Killer kill crows foot grass?
    A

Drive XLR8 Herbicide Crabgrass Killer is not labeled for crowfoot grass.  For crowfoot, it is generally recommended to treat with a pre-emergent product. Something like Ferti-Lome Weed and Feed with Dimension would be an excellent option. This will be used either in early spring or in the fall.
For the weeds that are there now, we would recommend spot treating with a glyphosate product and reseed/sod the areas. This will kill whatever it comes in contact with.

    Q
I just planted Eco Lawn. The lawn is 4 weeks old. Can I use Drive XLR8 on the lawn now to kill weeds?
    A

How soon you can apply Drive XLR8 Herbicide Crabgrass Killer after seeding depends on the lawn species you planted.  It appears Eco Lawn is a blend of fine fescues and the Drive XLR8 label states to not apply within 4 weeks after seedling emergence of this type of grass.  You should wait until the grass is well established and has been mowed at least twice before applying Drive XLR8.
