OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Before filling the hopper, become familiar with the operation of this spreader.

  • Obtain proper setting for material to be used
  1. For Light Application
  2. For Moderate Application
  3. For Heavier Application—if the heaviest setting does not apply as much material as needed, a second application may be required.
  • Move stop on rate gauge assembly to the proper setting
  • While turning handle crank, pull the trigger to the stop. To stop, release trigger while continuing to crank the handle.
  • When finished, empty any remaining material from the hopper.
  •  Thoroughly wash spreader and allow to dry before storing.

If heaviest setting does not apply as much as material as needed, a second application may be required.

Caution: Too much fertilizer may damage your lawn.
