Eraser Weed Killer
By Betty on 06/22/2011
Eraser is the best weed killer we have ever used. We have used many types and brands of weed killer over the years but most were expensive and a waste of money, time, and energy as they were ineffective. Vegetation sprayed with Eraser takes about a week to wither and die. Certain plants, depending on type, size, and age, may require a second application, but this stuff works. It even kills poison oak that is climbing up a tree trunk without killing the tree. Just don't get it on the leaves of the tree. Do not use if the wind is blowing because if mist drifts onto something you do not wish to kill, it will die. Eraser is easy to mix and use. It kills vegetation that it is sprayed on but does not "kill" the soil. Desired plants can be grown there later. It is my understanding that Eraser does NOT leach into ground water – that degradation of this product is primarily a biological process carried out by soil microbes. If you have annoying, hard to control weeds or bushes, my family recommends this product as THE BEST. DoMyOwnPestControl company is great to do business with. I ordered the 2.5 gallon size of Eraser and was surprised at how quickly it arrived.

Eraser requires a little patience...
By Manny on 09/29/2011
I was tired of paying the ridiculous prices for weed killer. Tried a 3oz/gallon mix of Eraser, but didn't see results the first couple of days. I continued to wait as the above reviewer had said it can take a week. Sure enough, after the 5th or 6th day, the weeds died. 2.5 gallons is going to last me a loooong time! :)

Eraser Herbicide
By John on 09/08/2011
This is a very effective and easy to use product. We use it to control noxious weeds around our farm. Tansy is a big problem in this area but we now have it nearly eradicated here on our place. The price is way less than local and no shipping charges makes this a great econimical product to use.

Unfortunately the Eraser 41% Weed Killer cannot be used in a spray bottle. Per the Eraser 41% Weed Killer Herbicide ?Product Label: ?Mixing Directions: For best results use 2 1/2 oz (5 Tbs) per gallon of water. One gallon of water will treat approximately 300 sq ft. You can also see a chart given with examples of different sprayer types used on page 5 of the product label for other mixing options as well. Keep in mind that with hose end sprayers while you can control on the dial how much it puts out per gallon of water it pulls, there isnt really a way to know how much product you are putting out in a certain time frame so you will want to keep this in mind when spraying to avoid over-applying the product in any one area.

We are in East Texas with a farm.
Eraser 41% is a non-selective herbicide that will kill existing plants that you spray with it. TVC Total Vegetation Control is a great option for control of weeds for up to a year. It will be applied with a pump sprayer to areas where you are wanting to control grassy and broadleaf weeds. The mixing rate is 0.6 - 6.4 oz per (0.5 - 5%) per gallon of water. It is recommended that you use a surfactant as well to increase the effectiveness of the product.

Yes, Eraser 41% Weed Killer Herbicide is a non selective herbicide that will kill anything sprayed. You should avoid any contact with desirables plants. Fertilome Over the Top II is labeled to kill grassy weeds in lirope or monkey grass as well as various other ornamentals and ground covers. The mix rate is 1 oz. and 1 oz. of oil concentrate per gallon of water per 1,800 sq. ft. Please see the label for complete application instructions.
I have a large area to spray
Eraser 41% Weed Killer Herbicide is a non-selective herbicide that would kill just about anything it is sprayed on. However prickly pear is very difficult to get rid of and since Eraser is not specifically labeled for prickly pear, we can not guarantee that it would work. Unfortunately, we don't have any herbicides specifically labeled for prickly pear. You may want to contact the cooperative extension office in your area to see what they recommend.

Per the product label for Eraser 41% Weed Killer Herbicide Use 2 ½ oz (5 Tbs) in 1 gallon of water which covers 300 sq. ft. (30 ft. x 10 ft) or use for spot treatments. To Control Brush or Vines: Apply to green and actively growing brush or vines. For plants taller than 5 feet, cut them back and spray the regrowth. Fall applications to brush may delay control to the following season. A second application may be required on hard-to-control species such as blackberry, kudzu, or poison oak. To kill vines growing up a pole, fence or mature tree trunk, cut vine to a height of 3 to 4 feet and spray thoroughly covering remaining vine.
