    Q
How much Eraser 41% Weed Killer should I use per gallon if using a hose end sprayer?
I have a "GreenThumb" self mixing lawn & garden sprayer, uses water hose water supply. The sprayer has an on/off valve and a calibrated dial to mix concentrate with water. The dial settings read from 1 TBS though 1 oz. All directions on the Eraser label are in gallons/acre. What setting[s] should I use on poison ive?
    A

Per the Eraser 41% Weed Killer Herbicide Product Label: Mixing Directions: For best results use 2 1/2 oz (5 Tbs) per gallon of water. One gallon of water will treat approximately 300 sq ft. You can also see a chart given with examples of different sprayer types used on page 5 of the product label for other mixing options as well. Keep in mind that with hose end sprayers while you can control on the dial how much it puts out per gallon of water it pulls, there isnt really a way to know how much product you are putting out in a certain time frame so you will want to keep this in mind when spraying to avoid over-applying the product in any one area.

    Q
How much Eraser do you need to do a 1 acre field? I have a heavily rooted lot.
    A
How much exact product you use is going to vary by how heavily you have to spray the areas that you are trying to eliminate vegetation from. According to the Eraser label: Use 1 1/3 oz per gallon of water to control most annual weeds; use 2 2/3 oz to control tougher or hard to kill perennial weeds. You will want to refer to the product label for complete use instructions. If you are using 2 2/3 ounce per gallon of water, and each gallon covers roughly 500-1000 sq/ft, you will need at least 110 ounces of product for an acre of land so you would need to purchase at least 1 gallon of Eraser. Please let us know if you have any other questions!
