    About how much Essentria IC3 Insecticide Concentrate do we need to treat a half an acre for mosquitoes?
    A

    For mosquito control, you may use 1-3 oz of Essentria IC3 per gallon of water per 1000 sq ft. So you may use at least 20 oz of concentrate if you are treating the entire area. Please refer to the product label for complete application instructions as well as our Mosquito Treatment Guide for more information and helpful tips on how best to manage this pest.

    Do I need to add a surfactant to Essentria IC3 Insecticide Concentrate?
    I will be mixing with water and applying with a 55 gallon pto sprayer on the 3pt hitch of my tractor. Should I add anything to ensure the solution does not separate?

    It is not usually required to use a surfactant with Essentria IC3. For larger sprayers, especially, the product label recommends to maintain agitation while spraying.

    If you have a client with a pond about 100 yards from the house can you spray Essentria IC3 on their yard?

    Will Essentria IC3 Insecticide Concentrate stain my white fiberglass boating sprayed directly on it?
    A

    Essentria IC3 has been tested on many surfaces and does not usually discolor stain surfaces. We still recommend that you test the product for discoloration or staining on a small inconspicuous area before spraying all baseboards as of course not all surfaces have been tested.

    Will Essentria IC3 Insecticide Concentrate kill Body lice eggs?
    A

    No, Essentria IC3 is not labeled for lice nor eggs and we do not offer products for treating the home for body lice.  

    If you believe that you have a personal pest such as lice, then we must recommend that you consult a medical professional. Lice must have a host to survive, so cleaning the environment and personal items such as bed linens, hairbrushes, etc. would be all that we can recommend to you since you need to consult your medical doctor for this type of concern.

    Can Essentria IC3 Insecticide Concentrate be used on clothing?
    Can I wash my clothes in this or apply it as a spray after washing, similar to "sawyer insect spray". We have a horrible tick problem at our house, and having the kid's clothes protected would be a good extra layer of protection.

    Essentria IC3 Insecticide Concentrate is not for use on clothing.  We do not carry any products that can be used for washing clothes.   JT Eaton KILLS Bedbugs, Ticks, and Mosquitoes is an option for spraying clothing though just washing and drying on the highest setting allowed would be best and kill anything on the clothing.  We would recommend reviewing our How To Get Rid of Ticks for the best advice as treatment of clothing is not needed for inside applications.

    Essentria IC3 Insecticide Concentrate is best applied 24 hours before any rain or irrigation.

    Will Essentria IC3 Insecticide Concentrate work on leaf-footed beetles/bugs?

    No, Essentria IC3 is not labeled for leaf-footed beetles. The most effective insecticides against leaffooted bug are broad-spectrum, pyrethroid-based insecticides, such as Permethrin SFR 36.8%.
