Product Overview

Quali Pro Fahrenheit Herbicide is a water soluble granules which provides broad spectrum control of annual and perennial broadleaf weeds and grasses. It contains 33% Dicamba as 5% Metsulfuron-methyl as its active ingredients which provides two modes of action: Group 2 and Group 4. It works by inhibiting acetolactate synthase (ALS) which is responsible for the synthesis of amino acids, an essential nutrient that is vital for plant growth, and by imitating the natural plant hormone indole acetic acid (IAA) causing rapid, abnormal cell growth further leading to a blockage of phloem vascular tissue. This combination delivers an effective control of unwanted weeds and grasses in residential lawns, commercial lawns, golf courses, sports fields, parks, campsites, recreational areas, roadsides, school grounds, cemeteries, and sod farms.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

Fahrenheit herbicide is a selective herbicide with two modes of action that provide a broad spectrum of weed control in turfgrass. Weeds are controlled after germination with some residual, pre-emergent activity on certain weed species. Fahrenheit herbicide is intended as a foliar spray application by professional applicators to established turf including residential lawns, commercial lawns, golf courses, sports fields, parks, campsites, recreational areas, roadsides, school grounds, cemeteries, and sod farms to control annual and perennial broadleaf weeds and grasses in certain labeled warm-season turfgrasses.

  • Profitability. A little goes a long way. The low cost of Dicamba + Sulfonylurea (SU) herbicide formulation provides high-performing and affordable weed control.
  • Versatility. Safe formulation for warm season grasses means you can use Fahrenheit on your course and around your clubhouse.
  • Simplicity. One bottle treats one acre. No more complicated dilution ratios.
  • Flexibility. Fahrenheit produces results in temperates as low as 50 degrees.
  • Efficacy. Controls weeds faster with two different modes-of-action.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

BROADCAST APPLICATION

For broadcast applications, 20-80 gallons per acre of water is recommended using pressures of 30-40 psi. Use higher volumes for dense weed populations or under dry conditions. Nozzle height should be no more than 3 feet above the ground to reduce drift. Flat fan nozzles should be held stationary and not used with swinging arm motion.

SPOT APPLICATION

For spot applications with a backpack or hand-held tank sprayer, add 0.2 oz. per one gallon of water and apply uniformly over 1,000 square feet.

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Fill the tank .25 to .50 full of water.
  2. While agitating, add the required amount of Fahrenheit
  3. Continue agitation until the Fahrenheit is fully dispersed, at least 5 minutes.
  4. Once the Fahrenheit is fully dispersed, maintain agitation and continue filling tank with water. Fahrenheit should be thoroughly mixed with water before adding any other material.
  5. As the tank is filling, add tank-mix partners (if desired), then add the necessary volume of non-ionic surfactant (NIS). Always add surfactant last.
  6. If the mixture is not continuously agitated, settling will occur. If settling occurs, thoroughly re-agitate before using.
  7. Maintain agitation while spraying.

    Awesome results

    By Tom on 07/13/2021

Three days after applying, Florida Beggar Weed was stressed and turning yellow. Day four Beggar Weed was turning brown and crisp. High temperature after application was 91 degrees each day. St. Augustine grass was totally unaffected! Creeping Florida Beggar Weed is very hard to get rid of in St. Augustine grass. I have tried other products and not had results anywhere near the results with Fahrenheit. Wish I could post photos. They really show the results.

    fahrenheit

    By Mike on 08/09/2019

After reading the warnings and directions, I might have been too intimidated to use it fully. Tried once and not much luck, doubled up my next dose and better kill rate, but I think multiple applications is the trick! I wasn't "scientific" in measuring out the product, either. So, be exact and you'll get better results!!

    Works well use surfactant

    By Mike on 06/15/2023

Picked this up and have used it for over two summers. Folks, use a surfactant with this for best results and it works faster with warmer climates. In conjunction with a good sedge product (certainty or sedgehammer are great) you have a one two punch that will take most weeds in bermuda lawns down. If money is and issue or Celsius isn't available this will work just fine. If you're looking at dallisgrass or crabgrass you're going to need quinclorac because this will slow it some but, take it out of your yard this will not do.

Q
Can Fahrenheit Herbicide be used on centipede lawns in South Carolina and it is available in granular?
A

Fahrenheit Herbicide can be used in centipedegrass and is registered for sale in SC. The Fahrenheit is already a white granule that is mixed with water to spray on the lawn. There is not a granule spreader application version of this product, and granule post emergent treatments tend to be far less effective than liquid spray applications.

Fahrenhite and Barricade for Virginia Button Weed
