    Q
Will deer eat Farnam Just One Bite II Rodenticide Bars?
Wanting to get rid of Feral hogs
    A

It is possible that deer could be attracted to the food based ingredients in the Just One Bite though baits should not be used in areas that would be exposed to wildlife.    It is not for killing hogs, only rodents.

Per the product label: Apply bait in locations out of reach of children, pets, domestic animals and nontarget wildlife, or in tamper-resistant bait stations. These stations must be resistant to destruction by dogs and by children under six years of age, and must be used in a manner that prevents such children from reaching into bait compartments and obtaining bait. If bait can be shaken from stations when they are lifted, units must be secured or otherwise immobilized. Even stronger bait stations are needed in areas open to hoofed livestock, raccoons, bears or other potentially destructive animals, or in areas prone to vandalism.

Do not apply further than 50 feet from agricultural buildings

    Q
Can I use Farnam Just One Bite II Bars in my car?
    A

Farnam Just One Bite II Bars is only labeled or use in and around agricultural buildings, so we cannot advise on using in or around a car.  It is important that the property is addressed as a whole in order to reduce the number of rodents. Tamper resistant rodent bait stations loaded with bait such as Fastrac Blox will help reduce the level of rodents on the property to a more manageable level. These products can be purchased together in our Protecta Sidekick Kit. To protect individual vehicles you may want to consider using rat snap traps or mice snap traps (depending on which you have) beneath the vehicle and resting on the vehicle tires overnight.

    Q
How do I use the Farnam Just One Bite II Bars to kill barn rats?
Do I just break off a piece and put it where I see the rats? I don't want my horses getting into it.
    A

Farnam Just One Bite II Bars is best placed in rat bait stations if non target animal ingestion is a concern.  Per the product label for RATS: While wearing gloves, apply two to eight 2-oz pieces of bar (or one entire BAR) at each placement location in infested areas. For burrow applications, insert one to two 2-oz pieces of bar at least six inches into each active burrow. Check treated burrows each morning and evening to make sure that baits have not been pushed out of burrows. For above ground treatment, space bait placements 15 to 30 feet apart. Maintain an uninterrupted supply of fresh bait for 10 days or until fresh signs of rat activity cease to appear
