    Is Ferti-lome Over the Top II Grass Killer safe to use on Tiger Lilies and Thrift?

    Will Ferti-lome Over the Top II Grass Killer kill iris's?

    Fertilome Over The Top II Grass Killer does list iris’s as a tolerant ornamental and will target grassy weeds only in and around listed ornamentals, flowers, shrubs, etc.  Be sure to follow the product label instructions for best results.

    Can Ferti-lome Over the Top II Grass Killer be used around Canna lilies and Potato Bushes (Lycianthes rantonnetii)?

    Canna is included on the list of tolerant plants on the product label for Ferti-lome Over the Top II Grass Killer, but Lycianthes Rantonnetii is not listed.

    Is Ferti-lome Over the Top II Grass Killer safe to use on centipede grass to eliminate invading bermuda?

    Fertilome Over the Top II Weed Killer  is not labeled for use in centipede grass to eliminate bermudagrass. This product is a grass killer and will eliminate both since they are so closely related.  Bonide Grass Beater II Over-The-Top Grass Killer would be a better option to use.

    How soon after I apply the Ferti-lome Over the Top II Grass Killer can I water the area?

    Per the product label for the Ferti-lome Over the Top II Grass Killer:  Applying this product in calm weather when rain is not predicted for the next 24 hours will help to ensure that wind or rain does not blow or wash pesticide off the treatment area

    So you should always wait to water your lawn for at least 24 hours after application.

    Will Ferti-lome Over the Top II Grass Killer kill Zoysia in Azalias and cedar ground cover?

    Fertilome Over the Top II Weed Killer will harm zoysia, though, it is not specifically labeled to control it. This product is designed to kill grass and grassy weeds. The product label states, "Most ornamental species tested have been found tolerant to this product (see Tolerant Plants list). However, use with caution around the following plants as they may be damaged if spray contacts foliage: Azaleas (var. Snow), Japanese Privet, Potentilla, Snow in Summer, Red Oak and White Oak and ornamental grass." Cedar is tolerable of this product. Please be sure to review the product label for more information and complete application instructions.

    Will Ferti-lome Over the Top II Grass Killer eradicate morning glory in a vegetable garden?

    No, Ferti-lome Over the Top II Grass Killer is not labeled for morning glory (field bindweed). The safest thing in a vegetable garden area would be spot-treating with RoundUp QuickPro and/or hand-pulling the weeds when young and actively growing.

    Fertilome Over The Top Grass Killer is an herbicide not an insecticide and will not effect insects.  Bifen IT will treat scale on ornamental plants.

    Ferti-lome Over the Top II Grass Killer is only going to target young, actively growing grassy weeds listed around landscaped areas, shrubs, groundcovers, etc as directed on the label.
