Product Overview

Fiesta Turf Weed Killer is a selective pre & post-emergent broadleaf herbicide that utilizes a unique iron chelate solution to quickly kill unwanted weeds while leaving turf healthy.  It goes to work quickly, providing visible results on the day of application.  It has no strong odor, and it is safe for people and pets to return to the treated area as soon as the application is dry.  This versatile herbicide can be used as either a broadcast spray or as a spot treatment and can be used in pesticide-restricted areas such as golf courses, parks, playgrounds, cemeteries, and sports fields.  Treated areas can be reseeded after one day of application.  For pre-emergent control, begin application when soil temperatures reach 50-55 degrees F. For post-emergent control, apply when air temperatures are between 55-80 degrees.  Do not apply when the daytime termature will exceed 85 degrees F.

What will I see? Works quickly; dying weeds will be seen within hours of application. Treated weeds, moss or algae* will turn brown or black. Occasionally a darkening of the grass leaf blades can occur after treatment; however the grass will recover within a few days to weeks. May stain thatch (dead grass under turf); this does not affect the health of the grass. * Not for use in California

    Kills dandelions quickly.

    By Anthony on 04/12/2025

This worked extremely well for spot killing dandelions in my yard. It hasn’t done much to kill clover, which is my other yard menace. It has affected the clover so I may try another application of the weed killer.
