If the rodents were to consume the Flatline Soft Bait Rodenticide it will kill them. Keep in mind, we recommend using Glueboards and traps indoors. Yes, the Flatline Soft Bait Rodenticide can be used to for rodent control in and around landscape beds, bushes, trees, etc. When baiting outdoors with rodenticides, the manufacturers product label states to use bait in tampe resistant bait stations to keep kids and non target animals such as dogs, cats, and other wildlife from accessing the bait. A very popular bait station is the JT Eaton 902 Top Loader Bait Station as this versatile bait station can be mounted to tree limbs. The tubular shape of the station provides two entry holes for rodents on either side, while the top tube with the secure lid is used to place bait down in the center of the station.
Flatline Soft Bait Rodenticide is only labeled norway rats, roof rats, house mice, deer mice, and meadow voles. This bait is not labeled for squirells and would not be able to use to eradicate them. The only options for squirrels is to trap them or exclude them from the areas. Please read over our Squirrel Management Guide.

The active ingredient Chlorophacinone in Flatline Soft Bait Rodenticide can take several days and even up to 14 days to kill a rodent. For a fast kill or cleanout bait, we recommend a rodenticide using the active ingredient Bromethalin that is a single feed rodenticides with a kill time of 1 to 3 days.
Flatline Soft Bait Rodenticide is not labeled for groundhogs.

For select treatment areas, Flatline Soft Bait Rodenticide can be used in areas where rodent activity has identified and show baiting would be accepted by the rodents. These areas include along walls, by gnawed openings, in corners and concealed places, between floors or walls, beside burrows, or in locations where signs of rats, mice, and/or meadow voles* have been observed.

Each individual pouch of Flatline Soft Bait Rodenticide contains 1 oz. of bait, which means a 4 lb. bag would contain 64 oz. of bait, which is approximately 64 individual bait pouches per bag.
Flatline Soft Bait Rodenticide is not labeled for rabbits, nor is it intended to be used to target rabbits. Always use as directed per the the manufacturer's product label for the approved target pests listed.

While we generally do not advise baiting indoors for rodents and recommend using traps such as snap traps or glue boards so that you can easily locate and remove any dead rodents, the Flatline Soft Bait Rodenticide can be used indoors as stated on the product label.
If baiting indoors, even with no pets or kids in the home – tamper resistant bait stations should still be used to help secure the rodent bait and help to monitor the treatment process easier. Unsecured bait pouches or bait blox increase the risk of a rodent taking the bait back to the nest which will not allow you to monitor if they are still feeding on the bait or if they are elimianted.
For Mice, the MBS-1 Mouse Bait Stations or the Protecta RTU Mouse Bait Stations would be great options.
Per the Flatline Soft Bait product label, when baiting indoors, determine areas where rodents are most likely to consume bait ats, mice, and/or meadow voles* will most likely find and consume bait. Generally, these are along walls, by gnawed openings, in corners and concealed places, between floors or walls, beside burrows, or in locations where signs of rats, mice, and/or meadow voles* have been observed. Remove as much alternative food as possible.
