For moths: Could I use the dry cleaning packets, in my dryer on hot and toss clothing, instead of dry cleaning or washing every single item

Noticing small holes in clothing, put moth balls, and cedar chips for now Call an exterminator, they said I would have to clean out the 4 closets, and they would exterminate rugs walls ect Re: clothing, they said everything has to be washed or dry cleaned before putting back in closets.

Answer:

We are unfamiliar with "dry cleaning" packets so we can't really offer any information on them. In most cases just throwing the items in your dryer for at least 30 minutes on high will kill any larva or eggs on the infested items.
