    Q
How much Fusilade II to kill grassy weeds in bluegrass lawn?
I am trying to kill quackgrass and barnyard grass in a bluegrass lawn with a little fall fescue. Do I use the 6oz per acre? That seemed to be what they recommend on the label for use on a tall fescue lawn.
    A

Fusilade II Herbicide should not be used on desirable turf as a broadcast spray. You can do a spot treatment in your lawn only. The mixing ratio is 0.75 fl. oz. per gallon of water. It is also recommended that you use a surfactact, such as the Non-Ionic Surfactant. The mixing ratio for that is 1/2 fl oz.

    Q
How long after spraying Fusilade II Herbicide should I see results? What is the warmest temperature is it safe to spray?
I used .5 oz Fusilade and 1 tablespoon surfactant in 1 gallon of water.
    A

The time it takes Fusilade II to kill weeds depends on a few different variables such as the specific weed you are targeting, the outside temperature, as well as the ground temperature.  It can take up to 2 weeks to see full results. Any time you are using a post-emergent herbicide, including ones like Fusilade, the weeds or grasses you are targeting must be in an actively growing state and soil temps need to be above 65 degrees and below 85 degrees consistently for you to see maximum results.

    Q
Can Fusilade II and Roundup Custom be mixed in same 50 spray tank?
If so, do I need to add surfactant? For road side spraying.
    A

You can mix Fusilade II Herbicide with other herbicides such as RoundUp Custom. You should use a non-ionic surfactant with these herbicides for best results. Be sure that you are following the more restrictive labeling that pertains to your application needs.

    Q
Can dawn dish soap be used as a surfactant with Fusilade II Herbicide? Is this an effective surfactant?
    A

No, using Dawn Dish Soap in place of a Non Ionic Surfactant with Fusilade II Herbicide would not be recommended as this is off label usage and not advised per the manufacturer or DoMyOwn.com. The use of dish soap will also foam up in the tank sprayer and cause difficuties to apply the herbicide effectively.

    Q
When tank mixing Stinger and Fusilade do you still add surfactant?
Fusilade calls for it and Stinger calls against it.
    A

Fusilade II Herbicide always requires a surfactant be mixed with it for best results.  We do not carry anything called Stinger so could not comment on it other than to follow labeled instructions.  If Stinger does not require a surfactant, it would be best to apply each product separately.
