You will use 0.4 - 0.6 per 1,000 sq. ft. of Fusillade II Herbicide in at least a gallon of water. It is important to use the correct amount of product versus the amount of water. A gallon will generally treat 1000 square feet. You can also mix in the suggested rates, from the label, to determine how much surfactant and dye to use. Fusilade II Herbicide is not labeled to control sandspur. There are pre-emergents labeled for sandspur to prevent the weeds from germinating however there are only a few post emergents to kill sandspur when it is actively growing.
