Gentrol IGR should be applied to interior cracks and crevices when the children are not present. Once the treated surfaces are completely dry then they can return.Gentrol Point Source Stations are labeled for roaches and stored pests and not bedbugs. Gentrol should not be the only product used to eradicate bedbugs and it should not be applied to areas of furniture that will have future skin contact. Spring tails can be tough to eliminate because they reproduce very quickly. There are no IGR's that are labeled for springtails. In almost every case where people have spring tails they also have a moisture problem such as a leaking or sweating pipe, poor ventilation in their crawl space, lots of wet mulch right up next to their house, etc. You must locate and correct the moisture problem to get rid of the spring tails, insecticides alone will not do the job.
When dealing with an active infestation of roaches, we recommending using a roach bait gel, a residual insecticide, and an IGR altogether for best results. Each of these products attacks the infestation in different ways, and since roaches reproduce very quickly and require very little food and water to thrive, you want to come at the infestation with everything you have for fastest results. Keep in mind, too, that most of the roaches in a structure are out of site, so the population is much bigger than just what you see. We recommend taking a few moments to review our Roach Treatment Guide for more tips. We also sell all these products together in our Roach Control Kits. Please let us know if you have further questions.
