     Gordons Trimec Classic Broadleaf Herbicide is not labeled to kill or control crabgrass. It will only kill listed broadleaf weeds in listed established turf.

    How do I correct an overspray of Gordons Trimec Classic Broadleaf Herbicide when the lawn is yellow?
    A

    The only way to reduce the effects of an herbicide such as Gordons Trimec Classic Broadleaf Herbicide would be to use an activated charcoal pretty much immediately after spraying (within hours). If you have sprayed intolerant grass/plants with an herbicide by mistake, you will mostly have to wait and see what happens since result will vary depending on the rate used and overall health of the desirable plants.

    Can I apply Gordons Trimec Classic Broadleaf Herbicide after overseeding?
    I aerated and over seeded my lawn earlier this fall. It's been 4 weeks now. Is it safe to use trimec without it harming the new grass (fescue)?

    You should not use Gordons Trimec Classic or most other post-emergent herbicides until the new grass is well established. In this case, the product label specifies you will need ot wait until after the second or third mowing of the new grass.

    Gordons Trimec Classic Broadleaf Herbicide can be applied when temps are between 60-75 degrees at time of application. It works best when applied when temps reach that point for at least a few days consecutively.

    How long until we can assume the weed is dead after spraying Gordons Trimec Classic?
    On average, how long after we apply the product should we start seeing the results, and more importantly, how long will it take to completely kill the weed?
    A

    You should allow 7-10 days to start seeing wilting when using most post-emergent herbicides, such as Gordons Trimec Classic Broadleaf Herbicide. Usually you will see yellowing and then browing of treated weeds. You could reapply after 3-4 weeks if needed or if new weeds have emerged.

    Can you use a regular hose where water mixes with product in containers (plastic)) . Have many around .
    I have a variety of different grasses that were put in prior my getting the home. One is a wide blade grass that grows in clusters. It is scattered through-out the lawn. Can this be removed by the herbicide???? Would consider using in three homes.

    It is best to apply herbicides like Gordons Trimec Classic Broadleaf Herbicide with a hand pump sprayer or backpack sprayer to ensure the most accurate application. The rates for Gordons Trimec Classic Broadleaf Herbicide are not set per gallon of water so this type of application is not recommended as the water is just a carrier.  The rate to use is based on amount per 1000 sqft depending on your lawn type per the product label.

    This product will not kill any type of grassy weed as it is only for broadleaf weeds.

    Seed can be sown 3-4 weeks after application of Gordons Trimec Classic Broadleaf Herbicide.  It is not necessary to remove the soil.

    Gordons Trimec Classic Broadleaf Herbicide states "low Odor" so does it have a strong smell? Any odor at all?

    Gordons Trimec Classic Broadleaf Herbicide does have a low odor that is amine-type per the SDS and would not be considered strong.  Once the treated area is dry any odor should dissipate.
