    Can I use GrazonNext in a small pasture to control arrow leaf/sida rhombifolia?
    I have a pony, goat, and chickens in this area, so this appears most animal friendly to take out this woody weed.

    Yes, you may use a surfactant like Non-Ionic Surfactant for Herbicides to increase the effectiveness of GrazonNext HL Herbicide.

    The dilution rates for GrazonNext HL Herbicide will vary depending on the weeds you are targeting and the application site. Please refer to the product label for the appropriate rate for your needs. Also, please keep in mind that this product should only be used on pastures and other areas approved on the product label, not on residential lawns.

    You will mix the GrazonNext HL Herbicide at 1.5 pints (24 oz) per 40 gallons of water per acre. For tough to control weeds you may use up to 2.1 pints (34 oz) per acre. Please review the product label for more information.

    How much GrazonNext HL Herbicide do I add to water for spot spraying?
    A

    The amount of GrazonNext HL Herbicide can vary based on how much water is required to thoroughly spray the foliage to the point of run off. Please refer to Table 1 and Table 2 on pages 4 & 5 of the product label. It is advised that the total amount of GrazonNext HL applied broadcast, as a re-treatment, and/or spot treatment per year must not exceed 2.1 pints (34 fluid oz) per acre. Spot treatments may be applied at an equivalent broadcast rate of up to 4.2 pints (68 fluid oz) per acre of GrazonNext HL per annual growing season; however, not more than 50% of an acre may be treated at that rate.

    How much Gazon per gallon or how much per litre do I need for nettles?
    A

    GrazonNext HL Herbicide is applied at 19-34 fl oz per acre (43,560 sq ft) for horse nettle/bull Netle. The amount of water will depend on how much will cover a 1,000 sq ft uniformly usually 1-2 gallons of water per 1,000 sq ft.

    GrazonNext HL Herbicide is labeled to treat dandelions. Please note, the label does state: Do not apply this on lawns, turf, ornamental plantings, urban walkways, driveways, tennis courts, golf courses, athletic fields, commercial sod operations, or other high-maintenance, fine turfgrass areas, or similar areas.

    What would you recommend the mix be for spraying GrazonNext HL Herbicide in my horse pasture?
    I spot spray mainly for Leafy Spurge, Curlycup Gumweed, Spotted Knapweed, and Whitetop. I use a 14 Gallon Sprayer in the back of my ATV, spot spraying.

    GrazonNext HL Herbicide is not labeled to treat leafy spurge or whitetop.  The labeled rate for knapweed and gumweed is 24-34 ounces of GrazonNext HL Herbicide per acre.

    How much GrazonNext do I add per 25 gals water for wormwood?
    A

    Exactly how much GrazonNext HL Herbicide you use per 25 gallon tank will depend on how large of an area that 25 gal tank covers. For wormwood control, you should use 19-24 fl oz of GrazonNext per Acre (0.44-0.55 oz per 1000 sq ft) in sufficient water. So if your 25 gal tank covers ½ Acre, then you would use 9.5 – 12 oz in that tank. Please refer to the product label for complete application instructions.

    Can I mix GrazonNext HL with Gly Star Plus?
    A

    Since we do not carry the Gly Star Plus, we cannot say for sure whether it can be mixed with GrazonNext HL.  We can tell you, though, that most herbicides are labeled as safe to be mixed with other EPA-registered herbicides. We recommend that you read and follow the label instructions for each product to prepare a tank mix test and see if the two products are indeed compatible.

    What is an average tank size for pasture sprayer recommended for 30 arcs pasture
    I'm looking into purchasing or building a pasture spray rig looking at both boomless and boomed options that I'm not having to stop and go fill back up every 20 min I've currently a 40 gallon set up

    Tpyically, truck spray rigs are 25, 50, or 100 gallon tanks. Keep in mind that larger tanks may require more agitation ability since you would be refilling less frequently. Usually for herbicides you should use at least 30 gallons of water per Acre for most applications. There are likely larger tanks for more complex systems with mechanical booms, however, we do not specialize in this type of agricultural equipment.

    How much Grazon Next HL do I use for 50 acres with difficult weeds?
    How much GrazonNext HL do I need to treat 50 acres at maximum strength.With a 200 nozzle sprayer by Hardi, how much total water will be needed? I am killing dewberries, horse nettle and thistle. I have some small sweetgum and privet as well that are kept low by mowing.

    The high rate of Grazon Next HL would be 34 oz per acre.  You would need 1700 oz to treat the 50 acres.  The total water needed will be determined by the spray rate you’re applying.  You will need to know how many gallons your spraying per acre, then apply 34 oz for that amount.

    Per the GrazonNext Product Label: Spot Application: Spot treatments may be applied at rates equivalent to broadcast-applied rate of up to a maximum of 4.2 pints (68 fl oz) on 50% of the treated field. Spray volume should be sufficient to thoroughly and uniformly wet weed foliage. Repeat treatments may be made, but the total amount of GrazonNext HL applied must not exceed 2.1 pints (34 fl oz) per acre per year (see comments in the Use Precautions and Restrictions section above on Maximum Application Rate).
