Tysen from Norwalk, Ct writes

I have a 200 gallon tank. How many ounces per gallon of Talstar do I need for spraying ticks?

Answer:

When using Talstar P for ticks in the lawn, the rate is 0.5 - 1.0 oz. per 1000 sq. ft. in at least 1 gallon of water.  So for 200 gallons, you would use 100-200 oz. Treat the entire area where exposure to ticks may occur. Use higher spray volumes when treating areas with dense ground cover or heavy leaf litter. Ticks may be reintroduced from surrounding areas on host animals. Retreatment may be necessary to achieve and/or maintain control during periods of high pest pressure. Repeat application is necessary only if there are signs of renewed activity. Limit repeat application to no more than once per seven days
