In general the CuPro 5000 is a copper based fungicide used for contact kill and control over existing diseases. The CuPro 5000 DF Product Label states for ornamental plants: Use 1.5-2 pounds per acre as a thorough cover spray. One and a half (1.5) level tablespoons of CuPro 5000 per 1000 sq/ft is equivalent to 2 pounds per acre. Begin application at first sign of disease and repeat at 7 to 14 day intervals. Use higher rates and shorter spray intervals during periods of frequent rains or when severe disease conditions persist.
