    Q
Is Crossbow safe to use around azelia bushes, daffodils and burning bush shrubs?
I'm using 3"- 5" rock in my beds (I installed weed block underneath) but I'm getting all sorts of clover and grass growing on top.
    A

The product label for Crossbow Herbicide only lists that it can be used in non crop areas and specifically states: Do not apply directly to, or otherwise permit it to come into direct contact with cotton, grapes, tobacco, vegetable crops, citrus, flowers, fruit or ornamental trees, or other desirable broadleaf plants and do not permit spray mists containing it to drift onto them.  Gordons Ornamec would be a better choice. This will eradicate grassy weeds but not clover. You may need to spot treat with a glyphosate product carefully like Killzall for the other weeds or manually remove them.

    Q
    Does Crossbow work on Aspen?
I cut some large Aspens (3) last Sept and now the roots and stumps are sprouting throughout my lawn.
    A
Crossbow should work great on Aspen.  It is an herbicide that is labeled for what is called a cut stump treatment.  A cut stump treatment is where you hack or saw or cut the tree or bush off down at the stump level and immediately drench the roots and/or cut stumps with a concentrated dose of crossbow.  The important thing here is to immediately drench the cut stump after cutting, so you want to mix the product and have it ready to go immediately after cutting it. It may require 2 treatments.

    Q
How can I kill an oleander bush? Nothing I've tried has worked, short of digging one out.
I've tried many products, methods and concoctions to try and kill these bushes. Digging one up worked to get rid of it, but was a JOB! I have about a dozen to get rid of, what product can you recommend that will kill these bushes?
    A

    Q
Can I use 1 1/2 gallons diesel to 8 oz. of Crossbow, to kill tree stumps after they are cut down?
    A

Per the Crossbow product label: To prevent or control regrowth from cut stumps, mix 4 gallons of Crossbow in diesel oil, No 1 or No 2 fuel oil or kerosent to make 100 gallons of spray mixture.

This breaks down to about 5.12 oz of Crossbow per gallon. So for 1 1/2 gallons you would use approx 10.24 oz of Crossbow

    Q
Will Crossbow contaminate soil and poison vegetables? How long should I wait to plant a garden?
I am concerned about the spread as well. I dug up as much of a spreading tree as possible but I need to kill the roots. If I spray directly onto roots and around soil, How long must I wait to plant vegetables?
    A

Crossbow Herbicide will stay in the soil and could veggies for up to 2 years. It's possible you could use Tordon. We recommend to contact Dow 800-992-5994 option 4 the manufacturer of both products for the best one to suit your treatment.
