What setting on a Scotts Hand Held Spreader is recommended to apply Heritage G Fungicide on St. Augustine Floratam grass?
    A

The applications rate for Heritage G Fungicide will depend on the turf disease you are targeting. Please refer to pages 10-12 on the product label for listed lawn diseases and application rates.

    Setting for a Scott's Deluxe w Edgeguard
What setting should I use for this fungicide? Thanks
    A

    Good Morning,

We understand that it is tricky to know what setting to use on your spreader, but since there are so many available on the market, it is important to calibrate your own equipment based on your application and the product you are using. For Heritage G Fungicide

https://www.domyown.com/heritage-fungicide-p-1343.html, you will use 2 to 4 pounds of granules per 1,000 square feet. Please refer to the product label for the best rates for the area you are treating and the disease you are targeting. Please see below for more details on how to calibrate your spreaders. Many folks will start at either the lowest setting or at 1 setting lower than the middle setting. We also have an excellent instructional video here.

Almost all fertilizers, herbicides, insecticides, etc have treatments in amounts of so much product per 1000 square feet. So if you can figure out what your walking speed is then you know anytime you apply any product that calls for so much of it per 1000 square feet, you always set your spreader on this setting. You can calibrate this by marking off a 1000 square foot (10 x 100) area and placing 4 ounces of any type of product of similar granule size, or of the Snapshot in the spreader. Start with a low setting and start walking your marked off area at a normal pace. You can adjust as you go and find the basic setting for you to apply the product over a 1000 square feet.

    Thank You,

    Q
Is Heritage G good for plants or lawns only?
I have a Eugenia Topiary, podocarpus and others with fungus
    A

Heritage G Fungicide is a granular formulation, and would not be recommended for this usage. I have attached an article from the University of Florida on the Podocarpus that actually states there are no effective fungicide treatments, unfortunately.

    Q
Best way to handle Heritage G Fungicide when using an automower
Hi, I have an automower (robot) that cuts the lawn. I have seen some comments to bag the clippings, but the automower does not do that. Does it mean that I have to cut my grass manually and collect the clippings, or is it ok to continue with the automower as usual.
    A

You should always bag any clippings after treating with Heritage G Fungicide.  If the automower does not do this, you will need to rake up the clippings and bag, this is because you do not want to leave any grass clippings that could still have the disease on the lawn as you can just reinfect the area.
