  • Asked by Nina from Hernando, Ms
    10/05/2014
    Q
Our co-op sold me this product for flea control in our yard. Why should this not be used on the lawn?
    A
The technical answer for that is on the label : "IT IS A VIOLATION OF FEDERAL LAW TO USE THIS PRODUCT IN A MANNER INCONSISTENT WITH ITS LABELING" and that would be the true reason. Another reason for not using this product on the lawn is because it is not targeting pest that would be found in a lawn, only those on ornamentals and trees and the listed edibles on the label. There are other products that would be more appropriate for turf pest control which you can find on our site, or by letting us know what pest you are trying to treat for so we can direct you to the best product.
