Hi-Yield Atrazine Weed Killer is not labeled to treat Torpedo grass. Torpedo Grass is hard to treat. We are not aware of a product that will treat Torpedo and not harm St. Augustine. You may want to consider spot treating with RoundUp.

Best results are usually obtained when applied in early Spring or dormant periods when weeds are small or have not emerged. It should not harm a lawn in transition. Atrazine is only safe for St. Augustine or Centipede lawns.
