    Q
Can I leave the captan fungicide mixed in a sprayer or do you have to use it all at once after it is mixed?
    A
As with all product you use, you will only mix up what you need to use and any that is left over needs to be used within 24-48 hours at the most. After that time frame the mixed solution would need to be disposed of as the longer it sits in a mixed states and unable to dry, it will start breaking down the solution and eating away at your sprayer parts.

    Q
Can Hi-Yield Captan 50W Fungicide be used to treating my Bearded Iris Rhizomes that are rotting? They are in raised beds with compost, soil conditioner, good top soil and have good drainage and aeration. I am not sure what is causing the rotting.
    A

Unfortunately, Hi-Yield Captan 50W Fungicide is not labeled to treat Bearded Iris Rhizome nor any type of rotting.

We recommend getting in touch with your local extension office to get a positive identification and what the source may be for it.
