How can I apply CoreTect to my property when the usage rate seems to exceed the yearly limit?

We were looking to purchase CoreTect for our ficus to prevent a white fly infestation, and we have some questions.

Answer:

You are correct that you cannot use more than 450 tablets of CoreTect on one acre of property per year. In fact, on your smaller parcel of land you cannot use more than 90 tablets per year. You have a unique situation in that you have so many ficus on such a small piece of property. Every systemic product does have about the same usage limits that you have found on the Coretect. You could of course treat your most susceptible ficus with the systemic Coretect and use a product with a different active ingredient such as Talstar P on the less susceptible ficus as a foliar spray. It might be a good idea to check with a company that specializes in ficus/whitefly to see what they would recommend in your situation. (Most companies will offer a free estimate and will provide you with a plan of action)
