How do I clean the tank after use of the 2,4- d herbicide ?

I seen a post saying to keep livestock off pasture for at least 30 days. Does this still apply if I spot spray the weeds?

Monterey Spray Tank Cleaner will help to prolong the life of your spraying equipment and help you to avoid dangerous chemical mixing and cross contamination. The rate is 1 1/2 tablespoons to 2 gallons of water. It is recommended that you keep livestock off the pasture even with spot treating.
