How do I remove Pest Barrier Rat-Out Gel Rodent Repellent and odor from home?

My pest control service, unbeknownst to me, heavily applied the gel around the exterior of my home on cedar siding. Since it's summer and no AC, all windows need to stay open. The odor repellent is definitely working on us humans! I first removed the gel with a wet washcloth and hosed off the areas. I then went back over the areas with a grapefruit and lemon oil cleaning solution, but the odor persists. I see some light stains/residue on the cedar so perhaps the garlic concentrate or mineral oil has seeped in. It's miserable!

Answer:

Pest Barrier Rat-Out Gel Rodent Repellent should be easily removed from surfaces with soap and water.  Any odor could persist if there is still some residual.  You may try reaching out to the manufacturer for advice as they would know the product better.  Bird Barrier can be reachded at 310-527-8000
