How do you calculate the number of ounces a palm requires to use the Palm Pro 12 - 4 - 12 with 60% SRN?

Answer:

The rate of Palm Pro 12 - 4 - 12 with 60% SRN for palsm per the product label: Soil Injection: Mix 1 gal Palm Pro in 100 gal water which breaks down to about 0.01 fl oz per gallon of water. Inject 1 qt mix per injection hole under canopy. Keep 2’-4’ away from trunk. Apply 2-4 times per year However, the roots of palms are all at the base of the tree they do not spread like other trees, so the trick is you have to add more solutions to get it to cover the roots. So if it is a small palm, 1-3 inches around, you can use 15 gallons of solution (2 oz per gallon, so a total of 30 oz), and if it is 10+ inches it is going to take about 50 gallons of solution.
